The official Wladimir Klitschko vs. Shannon Briggs saga: the "Cannon" laying siege

Mormeck was pretty bad, but Wlad takes what he can get for his voluntaries... Not his fault that the top guys aren't lining up to fight him. LEAPAI WAS HIS WBO MANDATORY. For ****s sake....

 

Lol. The same guy who got utterly and thoroughly trashed by Klitschko? Lol

If it comes off, then it'll just prove that all that bull**** with those altercations was set up.

Dude shoulda just came out and said he wanted to fight an old, shot version of Shannon Briggs (who was really never more than just an "ATG" tomato can crusher).

The HW division is garbage. The theatrics and lies make it even worse.

 

Bryd didn't exactly shine during his losses to Wlad. Is he really in the position to train anyone to prepare for Wlad?

 

Strip the titles from him if he fights Briggs.

That would be like Mayweather fighting Kosta Zoo now.

 

Briggs is quite a character and I would love to see more of him. I know he stages his confrontations, but he keeps it entertaining and does not go overboard (with the exception of last stunt,) nor resort to profanities (unlike a certain oaf who had to tape his mouth.) I think the media in America and Germany would like to see more of him as well.


I want to see him fight Wlad, but a fight with Wilder may give him more credibility. Wilder did welcome the fight and Briggs would have the best chance of cracking the top 10 with Wilder than any other fighter, also he will certainly get Wlad if Wilder picks up the WBC belt.
However, most boxing fans have mixed feelings. What do you think? Do you want to see more of Briggs?



P.S. - Some people will always trash Wlad regardless; accusing him of staging these confrontations or saying he will look bad if he takes the Briggs fight, but what do you think Lewis or any other past champ would have done in response to Briggs’ antics? Wlad is always busy with his mandatories and had only 1 voluntary fight who he awarded to an undefeated Pianeta who recovered from cancer.

I actually want to see more Briggs. he's not as shot as most guys his age - bring on wlad, though he should fight someone ranked sooner than later

 

He should buy a glitter suit and move to the wwe/f

I'd like to see him fight a top 10 guy first.

 

He's just trying to yap his way into another Klit fight. I have no interest in him or what he does.

 

He should retire. He's brain damaged from the Vit fight. He doesn't need any more of that from the other brother.

 

Cannon Briggs could win against a lot of these "top" frauds that are afraid to step up (Wilder, Fury) as well as some ranked dudes like Leapai, Charr, etc.


Doubt he gets the Waldo fight but I'd find it entertaining while it lasts.

 

The guy is hilarious. I wanna see Wlad get clowned some more.
