I strongly agree with you that Briggs doesn't deserve a payday. He hasn't come anywhere close to earning it. However, he was absolutely demolished by Vitali and barely got paid at all. There's no guarantee that the contract he has with K2 now (I'm 100% sure he's had one already for a while) will see him handsomely compensated either. He's going to get savagely ****ed up because the Klitschko's paid him money for it.

I don't want the fight to happen either as big Wlad fan, but if you're going as far as saying it makes Wlad "pathetic" mine as well call every other HW champion pathetic for the bad fights they partook in.

 

There is a lot of pathetic fights down the years my friend. Don't blame just wlad. He has beaten haye, pulev, povetkin. They were the best for a while. I'd like to see him fight tyson fury of he beats chisora. Then stiverne vs wilder winner. And he can have a keep busy fight with Briggs If he pleases, you act like wlad hasn't beaten the best, ATM he can fight who he likes, and then get the other so called so challengers in between.

 

I guess Ali is pathetic... Considering he defended against Richard Dunn, and Jean-Pierre Coopman.

The fact that he took those two fights negates everything he did as a boxer, and makes him a 'pathetic' individual if we're to go by the logic if Klitschko haters.

Jennings is waiting for his shot at the WBC title and won't fight him, WBO mandatory winner of Fury/Chisora won't fight him until summer, Wilder/Stiverne winner is mandated to fight Jennings....

Everyone else is unrealistic

Chagaev and Shannon Briggs are the only ones available.
If those are the only available options for the Spring, I'll rather watch him whip Briggs for his voluntary defence before he fights the Fury/Chisora winner in the summer.
