All Briggs has done is make some youtube videos and talk.

It's not just in the HW division, just look only a little lower at the LHW's or the "red hot" LMW's

I don't have a problem with briggs provided he proves his worth in the ring instead of trying to clown his way into challenger status by stalking wlad.

    I agree 100%

However, a good test for Wilder, also, if Briggs gets smoked, then, he should just disappear from boxing scene.

Are you out of the loop or something??? You seem to be... Wilder is challenging Stiverne for the WBC HW strap 2 months from now, should he win(which I doubt) do you really think he would face a high risk/low reward type of opponent like Briggs? His handlers obviously want to cash him out in a big money fight against Wlad, there will be no Wilder/Briggs.

Braddock-didn't deserve the hall of fame tbh, more to do with his story
    Schmeling- hall of famer
John Henry lewis- light heavyweight ffs
    Billy Conn- Light Heavyweight ffs
Lou Nova- didn't really deserve it more to do with his fame
    Jersey Joe Walcott- deserved it

Over 17 million people have watched that overly attached girlfriend video does that mean Wlad should fight her? Simply being an idiot and making a fool of yourself doesn't get you a shot at the champ. If it did Fury would have got his shot years ago.

it would categorically be the worst defence of the hw title ever.

the previous record was held by vitali.

I'm a massive Wlad fan, have been since 99

    I doubt he fights Briggs

I saw a Wlad fan say well he beat Haye Povetkin and Pulev and can take a warm up fight

I say bs! Mormeck might be considered his worst opponent yet he was 3-0 and beat a guy like Oquendo and unified 3 belts at cruiser

Briggs has done nothing remotely similar KOing guys worse than Wilders opponents

    Wlad has other fights

I don't consider this off base at all but I also don't think Wlad is entirely inactive. he's fought over 20 times in the last 10 years and that includes trying to make fights with some difficult camps, I don't want to see him fight Briggs because that would devalue the belt.

at 38 I don't expect him to start fighting 3 or 4 times a year but 2 fights a year for maybe 4 more years he should make some meaningful fights not including Briggs

Okay, most likely if he faces Briggs it's a warm up for another match. Let's look at the odds though. Fury will probably beat Chisora.

Fury will talk & talk & talk, but he will not make it to the ring even if he signs the fight. He & his team knows better, see Ustinov pull out. See Haye pull out.

Sure there is better opposition but Briggs has unnerved the Waldo. Let him do his thing.

He has fought his last 3 mandatory fights. 2 against the next best in the division, so he is allowed to do whatever he wants.
