Incorrect. Bonte said in the post-fight presser after the Wlad - Pulev fight that a fight vs. Briggs "can at this time not be completely ruled out".

Bonte is a future HOF promoter and is carefully covering in base, at all times.

Over at the scene Boente said Briggs is not even in their thoughts for Wladimir next fight.

Brigg is next its obvious. HBO do what K2 say or HBO lose GGG

 

HBO should veto against Briggs. It'd be the right thing to do.

look, hes fighting Jennings next....it was just announced ....there will be a few things to be worked out but hes not gonna turn the fight down...

lol dont make me out to be a drama queen. its that people have been saying for months briggs is a set up and k2 repeatedly denies it and then bonete says this.
anyway i see jennning/klitschko is close lets hope he repeat his leapai/pulev performances

If you do not want second tier fights like Briggs then tell Wlad's first choice, Jennings not to duck. When Jennings does duck this fight HBO should ban him and he should get blamed for this Briggs farce.

Waste of time and it gives Briggs a big money fight he clearly does not deserve, nor has he even remotely earned.

I realize its all about selling tickets , but these Briggs type of fighters need to learn that chasing the champ around and going in front of the cameras and acting like a Briggs does should NOT earn you a fight with a world title holder, when there are other deserving fighters who are out there. And I venture to say that those who are aware of how badly Vitali took a beating to Briggs would not be clamouring for another like that, which would end up worse, even.

Briggs won't even be a challenge. Not even close. He'll be thrashed and it'll waste everyones time and effort to get to the arena and get sit down.......before they get their coat off, Briggs will be done........
