Always surprising that people can't empathize with the financial/career aspect of it all.

He'd make the same money fighting pretty much anyone else, it's not like Briggs is any kind of draw. In Briggs most recent fights he's been fighting in front of crowds that make Rigo or Ward audiences look like a music festival crowd.

Briggs would draw in Germany. Wlad just knocked out the best fighter in the divsion so he is entitled to an easy defense. It's a shame Jennings seems so scared. I do hope the fight comes off, so many ducks lately.

So let's say Wlad keeps the date in April or May who can he fight that would be a justifiable mandatory and make some money?

 

Have him fight Tysom. Furey has been in camp for the last 18 months, he's ready.

 

That fight could draw 100k ppl at a stadium in England. It's not enough of time for the promotion of an event like that. Yes both fighters are physically ready but I think the promotion end of that fight can't be Rushed.

Omg bunch of guys that would probably fight a lot worst guys if they was on Wlad place....
Klitschko already fight and beat the best in the division.
He have a voluntary defences and can face everyone he want, who is in top 10 of ranking. I dont see how Tyson, Lennox, Holmes, Louis and so on fight with only best in the div, esp in voluntary .... And you know what, Wlad was trying to do that. He choice the best opponent out there, but its not his problem that this piece of sh*** promotional fu** the whole match. They are nobody to demand on the Champ and try to change the deal.
Also Klitschko is going to fight Fury and the winner of Stiverne/Wilder, so i dont see who the f*** say he cant take an easy voluntary defence.
Also you got to be fuc**** idi*** to criticize Wlad for fighting best italian boxer - Pianeta, who was 28-0 in a voluntary defence. Same goes with Wach, which everyone is afraid of him and no one want to fight him.
Im for that fight if Jennings team duck the fight. Wlad should try to fight a 3 time per year, so he brake the record soon.

Briggs probably already has a contract from K2. And he's probably had it since last year (circa the Leapai fight).

 

Fighting Briggs would be a black eye for boxing.
