Exactly WHAT has Briggs done to warrant a top 10 rating by anyone?????

If Wlad announces this fight, I'm done supporting him. Disgraceful fight.

You have been in Wlad's corner since day one, WOW! If it comes out that Wlad actually passed on Jennings for Briggs I would be right with you but I fault Jennings/Crock Nation for this abomination.

Ali fought Jean-Pierre Coopman, and Richard Dunn... Way worse than even a 44 year old Shannon Briggs, why don't you give champions from other eras flack for fighting poor opposition? Wlad just KO'd Pulev a guy you said he would duck, and lose to if he fought. This is a bad fight, but not proof of Wlad ducking the top names in the division. He's already beaten the who's who the heavyweight division, Povetkin and Pulev are probably the best guys behind him at the moment... What's left? Stiverne/Wilder winner in a unification bout(I don't expect the winner to face Wlad anytime soon) Jennings(running with his tail in between his legs), and Fury. There aren't exactly many options on the table for him. He wants to stay busy, even if it isn't against the best competiton.

Briggs is good at promoting himself, and him and Wladimir have been having htis fake staged feud for while now. I don't think Briggs even belongs in the ring at this level anymore.

Exactly what a Hammer did to be ranked number 3 in the WBO ranking ?
Who exactly Wilder beat to become number 1 contender for the title of Stiverne ? Atleast Briggs was a World Champion.
Yeah i dont want to see that match either, but its voluntary defence and Klitschko can fight whatever guy he want if he is in top 10 in ranking. For the last 4 years, he fight Haye, Povetkin and Pulev.
And again Klitschko was going for the best opponent out there, but Jennings camp is fu*** dumb and they fu** the whole thing.
Some folks are scared to death that Wlad will beat Holmes record and will starting to chase Louis one.
Thats the reason they dont want him being busy.
There was a lot of guys, who was crying about Jennings, now a lot of people who are crying about Briggs. Its obvious that you cant make everyone happy.

tis alis one of weakest, but no way is it as weak as a retiree, Coopman was of prime age, went on to become Euro champ, and challenged frazier for the world title previously. He would beat Pulev, the guy who struggles with 40something nobodies.

    So why did you lie?

again he was just post prime at 31, not 44! Undoubtably Alis weakest. What a joke to compare the two.

    Why did you lie again?

he knocked out a guy who struggled with a 40something, so he is entitled only to making a decent defence, one in a long time.

Pianeta has done nothing, even today, and fought nobody. no title of any level has been secured by him ever. He has done much less than Dunn or Coopman, clearly because he doesn't possess their abilities.

    Wach is the same.

    They are both nobodies.

Shuuuuut up with that trash. Im a big wlad fan n even i cant support this.

I personally dont even think wlad would actually fight briggs anyway.

Wlad would be validating the type of behavior he says he detests... nah, this fight wont happen.

In that logic Fury is the same, cause he fights only bum with no power. Atleast Wlad fight undefeated guys. Fury take a victim of Wach and most guy dont wanna hear and fight Wach. Dont mention that Fury run scared of Pulev ko victim ....
Wach will beat a lot of guys in the HW division. Pianeta and Wach record is 60-2, and their loses is only vs Wlad. Yeah sometimes stats mean nothing, but Wach have quality to beat a lot of guys.
The question is why Fury, Stiverne or Wilder not fight guys like Wach or Pulev ?
And Pulev was inactive for long time before he fight Thompson and Pulev beat him fairly easy. And Thompson is southpaw, who recently was ko 2 times Price.
kirk, nqh i want su get it ? If you want you can shut up.
Klitschko choice to fight best opponent out there, he duck the fight, Klitschko have not much choice, and he need to stay busy and break record. If you rly a Klitschko fan you will want to see that. He can choice whatever opponent he want and you cant do nothing about it. Its voluntary defence anyway. Later in the year(and probably next) he will have 2 tough matches, so i dont see problem he take easy defence.

Nobody is saying Wladimir isn't entitled to an easy voluntary now and again. But Briggs is borderline not credible. If Briggs could beat somebody in the Top 25 to earn a shot, then Wlad would get more respect for fighting him.

Briggs has not fought a major fight since Vitali thrashed him in 2011. Even as an ex-champ, he ought to have won a sighnificant fight in the last few years to face a unified champ.

People give Klitschko credit for facing Wach, who is dangerous and avoided. But Pianeta has not defeated a (non old/shot) signficant heavyweight name. Maybe he's better than I think--I just don't know because the only time he stepped up was vrs. Wlad.

Briggs is worse, really, because at least Pianeta had gone some rounds with McCall/Botha prior to getting his shot.

In that year , Ali also beat Jimmy Young and Ken Norton.

Is Wlad going to take another 3 fights this year after Briggs? No , so stfu nuthugger.

Wlad will come out with fireworks going off and have his OTT ringwalk against Biggs like he's coming out to fight Mike Tyson:tired:dead:-(

Frank sent an offer for Wlad to face Fury in April-May and they refused.
He could have Fury now and then the WBC holder after.
