No no man.Wlad is not entitled to an easy defense. He has had easy fights for the past 8 years:deal

His proposed fight with Briggs s dsgraceful. At this stage, briggs ain't nothing more than a clown looking for a pay day.

Thats true. I dont want to see Briggs too, but probably Wlad have not much choice. And he cant decide alone who he want. There is sponsors, managers, TV and so on, who have big words in that.

Why doesn't this apply to any other boxer in the sport of boxing?

After Manny was brutally KO'd he went straight in with Rios. Why wasn't he entitled to fight a 44 year old man shot beyond all recognition? You would think he'd get a pass after being put out cold.

Sellcok Aydin was once Floyd's mando. Why wasn't that fight forced on Floyd like Leapai was supposedly forced on Wlad:roll:

Wlad has been padding his record with bum fights for years. The only thing he is entitled to , is to defend his belts against the best available competition.

You have a proof of that or another talk ? But real proof, not some big mouth talk from Fury camp?
You have the mail, that was send to Wlad with the offer or what ?
    If not, you can SU.

    Who avoided Wach?
Nobody had ever heard of that guy when Wlad picked him out of obscurity.
He is garbage and it was a disgraceful cherry pick by Wlad.

I already stated that I am against the Briggs fight. However, nobody is giving reasonable alternatives, who should Wlad fight if not Fury?
As far as Pacquaio goes he's a PPV fighter he has to fight a marquee name to shell money out. And last I checked he didn't KO the best fighter in his division like Wlad has. The best I. His division is doing what Jennings is doing which is ducking.

Wlad holds all the HW belts which means there is absolutely no reason why he should ever be fighting anybody with world ranking of 50.

There is more of a responsibility to fight the best representing the HW championship than there is appeasing a TV Network.

Hammer and Wilder did nothing of note to be ranked top 10 by any organisation, the same as Briggs. Being ranked in the top 10 by any sanctioning body doesn't mean you are really top 10 or even top 20 or in Briggs case even top 50.

Briggs was a world champion or sorts. He was out boxed by a 48 year old George Foreman. Let that sink in... out boxed... by a fat, old Foreman and this was over 17 years ago, 17 years! Some boxers don't even have pro careers that long, Wlad was in his 1st year as a pro when Briggs robbed Foreman.

Nobody will begrudge Wlad a mandatory but this is going beyond s****ing the bottom of the barrel. Fans criticised defences against Pianeta, Mormeck, Wach and Leapai but all those guys are far better than a 43 year old shot to hell Briggs.

Jennings is a decent opponent, not great but solid and with his recent wins over Perez and Szpilka is far more worthy than Briggs but then again the list of opponents more worthy is huge.

A fight with Briggs is a freak show of a fight, it's like Lewis, Tyson or Holyfield fighting Butterbean in the 90's, Christ if Wlad really wants such a ludicrous fight (which I don't believe he does) then he might as well fight David Hasselhof (well known in Germany), Angela Merkel, the exhumed body of Saddam Hussein or Osama Bin Laden. Briggs/Wlad is a fight that is beyond ridiculous it would be a black eye to boxing and more importantly Wlad could permanently hurt Briggs or worse, he took the worst beating I've ever seen against Vitali and Wlad would be worse.

Exactly. Briggs isn't even close to being in the top 30, he's ranked 50 and 54 by the 2 independent ranking systems of the IBO and Boxrec. In the year he's been back from retirement if he had fought anyone close to top 20-25 instead of guys outside the top 200 and a couple of fights against opposition barely in the top 100 then it would be as bad, it would still be poor like Pianeta, Leapai etc but not this bad.

Briggs was retired for 3.5 years then desperate for cash has spent a year stalking Wlad in the hope of a payday while fighting journeymen that novices on their pro debut would face because if he fought anyone better he'd very likely lose or struggle badly with guys in the top 50. He's done nothing and I mean nothing to warrant a shot. He's beating guys who have lost to other guys that don't even rank inside the top 200 at cruiserweight! That's how little he has done since coming back to earn a shot.

One fast question to Dino. Why didnt you criticize your hero Pulev, when you was hypeing him high with his opponent before Wlad fight ?
Im talking about Ivica Perkovic, who have 18 loses, from his 24 last fights .....
Klitschko aint scared of no one, Jennings team duck him, he dont have big choice and he want to fight in voluntary defence, probably to brake Holmes record soon.
Anyway he will take on Fury and Wilder/Stiverne later on, so i dont see why so much people are hating and criticize Wlad, for Jennings ducking.

I don't care about him not fighting Jennings. That's on team Jennings. I just hate that they're trying to sell us another awful challenger.

The contenders out there aren't great at the minute but there is a host of better options than Briggs.

On another note if all you have to do is follow Wlad about and clown about a bit to get a lucrative payday as a challenger for his titles then I'm happy to do that.

Anyone in the top 30 that is available would be far, far better than Briggs.

He could fight Fury, rematch Povetkin, Glazkov, even Tarver yes Tarver would be better at least he's beaten a top 50 opponent unlike Briggs. Yes Tarver would be an awful fight, but hey still better than Briggs.

Cunningham, Takam, Perez, Chisora, Arreola, Browne, Charr, Parker, Scott the list goes on and on. Wlad could choose any of these and many others and they would all be better than Briggs.

People hate on Wilder for being over protected and getting a title shot. Compared to Briggs Wilders competition is like murderers row. If Wlad wants to fight a title holder from almost 2 decades ago who is shot, why not fight Tyson or Holyfield?

Personally I don't think this fight will actually happen, it's just too ludicrous to comprehend happening. Jennings is just waiting to see if Wilder beats Stiverne. If he does he'll possibly make more money in an all American heavyweight clash with Wilder than a voluntary with Wlad and will either fight Wilder or use that to increase his purse against Wlad. Wlad is just throwing Briggs name out there to show he has options other than Jennings so has more leverage in negotiations with Jennings team.
