Wlad should have been made fight Povetkin again after his first disgraceful DQ deserving performance. This time within the rules and without constant cheating and fouling.

But with a potential all american clash with Wilder a possibility he could make a million or close to it against Wilder which would mean a similar payday to facing Wlad but against a far easier opponent. 1 million is what mandatory opponents get. Voluntary opponents get less and lousy options.
