I've said before it will be more of a joke than a fight. Wlad can fight Hulk Hogan instead of Briggs, it will be the same thing. I won't stay up to watch that fight live if it happens. Wlad should retire immediately after that fight. He will literally have spit on his carreer.

Nice guys finish last. See what thrash talking got Briggs. Thats right, a date with the champ and an opportunity to one last huge payday before retirement. Im more interest in Klitschko vs Briggs than Klitschko vs Jennings.

Everywhere you go I go champ.

Another great Klitschko fight to look forward to. I hope Briggs doesn't have a heart attack in the ring.

I hope this is not true. Or atleast the fight happen early and Wladimir fight 3 times in 2015.
Klitschko have 30 days after Jennings to make the match with Fury, or the match will go on auction.
Klitschko need a date with Fury as well.

Not going to happen. Wlad fights 2 times a year, he's got Jennings and then a mandatory in Fury so Briggs is either talking **** or Wlad and his team are just trolling Briggs. Even if Wlad has a third fight he'll likely go for unification not some shot journeymen in Briggs.

I really hope it happens. I hope Grabimir knocks his ass out in a brutal, humiliating fashion.

I'm really ****ing tired of hearing this mongoloid repeating ERR'THIN' YOU DO AH DO CHAMP, ERR'THIN' YOU DO AH DO CHAMP, ERR'WHERE YOU GO AH GO CHAMP, ERR'WHERE YOU GO AH GO CHAMP, ERR'THIN' YOU DO AH DO CHAMP, ERR'THIN' YOU DO AH DO CHAMP,....

Isn't Huck available? Why would Wlad choose Briggs over Huck for a fight in Germany?

Like everyone else, I'd prefer Fury as Wlad's next opponent.

"I have a date with Klitschko set for September, if not sooner," Briggs told Buncey's Boxing Podcast on ESPN.

"His people have confirmed that - we've got a date. We're looking at September. We're looking at Hamburg, but hopefully we can change that venue to somewhere in America. That's what we're working on. Hopefully it can happen, if not in September then July or August. I feel great, I'm in phenomenal shape. I'm looking forward to fighting soon."

Briggs, 42, pulled off several stunts last year in a bid to earn a shot at the Ukranian's belts, gatecrashing Klitschko's open training session ahead of his victory over Kubrat Pulev in November, as well as disrupting a press conference ahead of Klitschko's fight against Alex Leapai last April.

A scuffle also broke out between the pair when the American approached Klitschko at a restaurant in Miami, and Briggs even taunted him from a speedboat in Florida while the Ukranian was paddle-surfing. Klitschko's fight against Jennings will mark the 38-year-old's first on US soil in seven years, though Briggs claims he originally had the bout.

"I had that date, I turned it down," added Briggs. "There was the fact that [American television network] HBO are not big Shannon Briggs fans at the present, they were really pushing for Jennings.

Yeah, Briggs has created interest in this match with his antics. I don't get why fans are so worked up about him getting a shot. Boxing history is littered with ATGs taking "gimme" defenses like this.

Ali had his Richard Dunn, Holmes his Scott Frank, Joe Louis had the "bum of the month club" for goodness sake! Who cares? Let's have some fun with this one!
