Because Briggs would be derided in the boxing community as a joke defense and Wlad would never live it down.

Knocking Briggs out would be a rewad for Briggs, because he could also collect money. Brigg's plan is to sacrifie his health for cash, so why help him?

Wlad doesn't care if you consider him "a real man." He ****s on you, really.

If Briggs wants a shot, he should shut his ignorant mouth and earn one.

great idea, fight a washed up Briggs and give Wlad's usual haters unlimited ammo to **** on his achievements until the end of time. all while taking a page from the WWE scripts, meaning anybody can get a shot at the champion via circus acts instead or actually earning it in the ring.

it'll make wonders for Wlad's legacy

Briggs already got a handout and a beatdown from Vitali, he doesn't deserve a 2nd one from Wlad.

Briggs needs Wlad, not the other way around....Wlad has no concerns about his next payday, and certainly doesn't need it to come off the back of Briggs.

 

Wlad doesnt have to worry about respect in prison. The only way he ends up there is if he fights Briggs and is charged with murder.

Briggs is roided up big time. If Wlad fights him they should make him do VADA testing. Wlad is the A side so he can demand it. Briggs will fail the first test. Or he probably will turn down the fight when he hears that VADA will be coming to see him!
