No need for Wladimir to resort illegal tactics. He's fighting Tyson Fury, not the real Tyson.

This has gone from an inside joke to a sick addiction.

Fury does not have the experience to beat Vlad, nor the power, balance, defense, stamina, etc., instead of preparing for a fight with Vlad, Fury has been fighting nobodies....................Vlad by knockout!!!!!!!

    :deal

Preferably TWO of them at the minimum. He's done nothing aside from all the theatrics, which still look staged to me.

I think HBO is the only reason why this fight has gotten blocked since Pulev -- HBO knows that an ancient, roided to the gills Briggs is a disgraceful fight. After Pulev, they (HBO) wanted Jennings in NYC and refused Briggs, who K2 had in mind according to German interviews done by Boente (before he conveniently backtracked shortly afterwards). Then, HBO's Hershman personally went to the Fury-Hammer fight as a gesture to support Fury as the third opponent in the network contract with Wladimir.

By now, all Briggs had to do was fight a couple of legitimately ranked top 10 guys and win. That's all he has to do, but he knows his stamina is only going to carry him for three rounds at best. Hopefully Marrone isn't on "Briggs's backer's" payroll and doesn't take a dive. Briggs should be able to beat a guy like Marrone without ANY controversy if he feels he can compete against the best.

We've seen Klitschko-Briggs before. In that fight, Shannon Briggs was beaten nearly to death the last time he faced a Klitschko.

-He was also roided to the gills then.
-He hadn't faced anyone of note then (except for his loss to Sultan Ibragimov, who exposed his deplorable conditioning).
-He did a ton of theatrics prior to the fight then, mostly during the weigh-in and final press conference.
-He hadn't earned a shot at all then either.

None of the above changed the Vitali-Briggs fight into anything less than an epic mismatch. If Briggs is for real, he'll earn his shot this time. As for both Wladimir and Wilder... each of them have options out there that provide interest and make sense. Especially Wladimir.
