The official Wladimir Klitschko vs. Shannon Briggs saga: the "Cannon" laying siege

I think that this show of force coupled with his two comeback victories and punking Wlad at his own gym pretty much prove that Shannon Briggs is the number one contender. Should Wlad decide to duck Briggs then that would simply be terrible for the sport of boxing since it would show that the champions are able to duck their most worthy challengers. That in turn would result in championships being taken more lightly than they have been until now since a champion that refuses to fight the most worthy challengers in his division can't really claim to be the best fighter in that division and his championship becomes a somewhat more political title rather than something that shows that he is the best fighter in his division.

 

Its clearly, Wlad is ducking Briggs now.

Maybe Briggs has been hired to draw attention to the fight .... and to make Leapai look like a legit opponent !

Briggs was lucky to win a title.... Really more of a choke from Liakhovich than anything. Briggs was getting completely schooled, before White Wolf choked in the dying seconds, really shouldn't have happened. Then Briggs fought Ibragimov and got schooled again, this time he didn't score a hail Mary come from behind knockout. Wlad would have beaten Briggs no problem, he would have battered him beyond belief, would make the loss to Vitali look like child's play... And then you would ***** about how it was a cherry pick.

 

Sultan only beat Briggs because he was coming off a case of dire case of pneumonia. Briggs took the fight anyway.

it's like watching Clubber Lang taunt Rocky, shame Hayden wasn't there and Briggs didn't come out with "Hey women! You're man ain't got no heart, how'd you like to see a real man?"

 

Briggs screaming around like a crackhead is considered funny in Idaho? It's pathetic and embarrassing.
