After Wladimir has won Leapai, do you want to see Wlad fight Shannon Briggs? The fight could be arranged pretty soon, lets say July-August. I think it could be cool, this is show business.

Fight would be completely pointless, and bad for boxing.
Briggs would have to beat a couple of stiffs to be ranked first, and then he should be picked up out of a lineup wich he never will because no matter how limited a fighter he is, he's also a very dangerous puncher. A win against him means absolutely nothing, a loss would be disasterous.

Klitschko and his team may have discovered that he is boring heavyweight champion. The whole briggs show has just been set up. So it could be good marketing strategy to sell the fight, if they decides to make it happen.

The fact that he is so desperate to fight Wladimir without any real fights lately speaks volumes about his current condition.

 

Calling the situation 'absurd' is whats truly absurd because the reality of the situation is he has given shots to guys far worse than Briggs so there is nothing 'absurd' about it.
