Wilder wouldnt have the balls to fight that 43 year old one. only ones he can beat.

Yeah I agree he very well could with his power, but his defense is terrible.
I don't know why a single trainer since Atlas hasn't done something about the low left hand/no head movement style he has employed since leaving Atlas after the Wilson fight.
So I give him a punchers chance, but I'm not really sure if at this point that he is any better than Travis Walker?
I could be wrong, but they are both big punchers who are easy to hit.

no he wouldnt you muppet :rofl

    A) he would never fight him because he is more protected than the president
    B) the only thing he has ever brutalized is complete unranked bums and appears to be signed up for another one. shocker

At this pointb in time, is Shannon Briggs anyting more than an unranked bum?

When was the last time he beat a ranked boxer?

He hasnt had a win of note since 2006.

    listen to my answer carefully...

as right as you are with what you just stated....that still makes Briggs 10 times better than anyone he has fought. Briggs not only has a chance to win (unlike the other bums paid to fall down) he would win and it would be quick. Thats how bad Wilder is. and thats why theres no chance in hell for him to fight him.

The question is here who is the muppet :yep

You saw how many 100% clear shots he took againt Vitali, that didnt throw the hardest hands at the end of his carrere?!
I dont think he would stand 5 of those bombs fired off from Wilder!! :deal

But you're right, he only fights bums, thats the reason we will never find out..

i picked wilder by stoppage. but briggs is not a bum like the fighters wilder has faced. briggs punches back. wilder is just too fast for the slow plodding briggs. as the fight goes on, he will become a stationary target and wilder will tee off

First of all, Wilder's management would NEVER put their china-chinned fraud in with Briggs, even today's ancient Briggs.

Second, if they did, there is a high probably that Wilder's fragile mandible would get exposed. Hence, my first statement. :nod

Briggs should target Leapai. If he's lucky he will land a lucky punch on him in the earlier than Wlad did and then he'll have bragging rights.

Of course it can also backfire and Briggs struggles with Leapai (most like he would) and then all bets are off.

That's the problem. Briggs punches back, and hits pretty hard. And while Wilder has been fed stiff after stiff for five+ years, even some of these guys have had him on the canvas.

If morbidly obese Dustin Nichols and professional opponent Harold Sconiers can put Wilder on the canvas, there is a damn good chance that Shannon "The Cannon" Briggs can keep him there.

Given this, it is highly likely the fight won't "go on" for very long, and Wilder will be exposed for the glass jawed fraud he is.:yep

Wlad and Briggs are good friends most likely. Wlad being the nice guy probably feels bad that Shannon got robbed silly by his own promoter, so he is trying to help the poor *******. Short of giving him a mil of his own money, the fight with Shannon would be the best way to give the old man some money, since the absolute minimum any of Wlad's opponents make lately is 850k

Since Shannon doesn't need a promoter or a manager for this fight, he could take all 850k for himself.

    we know tough guy.

wlad isnt a hot head idiot like you. briggs was being a clown which doesnt make it ok to assault him. he could have went to jail for that, broke his hand, or a number of things. the klits dont do stupid things like that
