Briggs' next opponent will be age 42 David Long (12-4-2, 8 KOs) on Aug 23.

Long was KOed a few years ago by Deontay Wilder in round one.

Briggs ducked Alex Leapai for late October, claiming to have cut his foot in the fracas with Wladimir. Leapai is now scheduled to fight Sam Peter.

 

Is he really fightin on aug 23rd? That duck was pretty pathetic if so.

If he'd beaten Leapai he would of been in line to possibly get his dream match. Wlad will make him look worse then his brother. What does he think he can crack the Wlad chin? It's been over 10 years since he was falling around like the town stiff, he's able to protect it almost flawlessly now.
