Folks. We've heard it a million times before. It's one of the most thrown around phrases whenever two people on east side boxing are arguing: "How dare you hate a fighter who risks his life in the ring!!! What is YOUR professional record??" Do you honestly think that these fighters are "risking their lives"* for the sole purpose of entertainment? Have you ever thought that, at the top level, these people make more money witih each punch than most of you do in a week? If we, the fans, just watched the fighters, and didn't pay money to see them, boxing would be DEAD. Don't be a victim to this illusion. :hi: And next time someone asks me for my professional record they can go to hell. I don't care that you want me to be some kind of professional boxer. If you only listen to professional boxers opinions on things, than yah, you can pretty much kill yourself right now. atschnono Just to spite these people, I might turn pro and get a nice 10-0 padded record vs. 30 year old tomato cans. :deal *Boxing is a lot less dangerous, statistically, than many other occupations. Construction, for example, is far more dangerous.
I may criticize a boxers performance in the ring, but I wont hate on him. I have nothing but respect for fighters.
Has It occured to you that you are not even remotely near tomato can level. Dude there is one hell of a difference between somebody who knows how to box, (tomato can or not) and somebody who does not.
well as much as i say im like that i do hate guys....i hate to the bone the 2 kameda brothers. and i dont apreciate juan diaz. phh just me i guess
all this is easy for you to say. im especially not going to take anything you just said seriously since youve never stepped foot in the ring. I have before and its a lot easier until you get hit in the face. then we'll see how you react and what you can do...
i never stepped in the ring, but does the street count? I have a pretty good record as far as that goes.
you also hate miguel cotto, you picked judah and urkal to beat him and then blame judahs loss because of the low blow. p.s whats not to like about juan diaz? seems to me like you have problems with hispanic fighters.
Same here. There are fighters I don't like for whatever reason, but I don't call any pro boxer a "bum", or resort to any kind of namecalling. That stuff seems kind of childish to me. Just my opinion.
