Dont be surprised that not only does Mayweather outclass Ortiz technically, but outmuscles and out fights him on the inside aswell, at at various points in the fight backs him, much like he did to Shane Mosley.

When Mayweather first entered the division, he was a JWW. Even when he fought Oscar at 154 (only weighed 150 on the night) he was really a JWW.

When Floyd fought Marquez and Shane Mosley, it looked like he had been hitting the weights hard. His physique was noticeably larger, and as shown in those fights while being larger, he still maintains his speed and reflexes.

I expect the Ortiz fight to be Floyds most exciting high profile fight to date. I truly believe he is now one of the stronger fighters in the division.

He looked like a much bigger man than Mosley physically. Floyd's only weakness is work rate and inactivity, and he controls the pace so much that work rate hasn't been an issue thus far. Unless he has aged badly(which is possible), his defense and accurate punching can UD anyone at 147.

For once, I agree. Floyd is bulkier, more muscled, heavier and physically stronger than his first stint at ww IMO.

I think the name "lil Floyd" is no longer applicable.

Totaly agree with this comment. I want just about everyone to beat Floyd when he fights, but honestly I know he is the best and most skilled boxer in the world right now. He's also strong at his weight again and thats frightening.

Ortiz isn't an elite fighter and should be knocked out within 10 rounds

Berto was nothing but an HBO hype job and so is Ortiz

Yeah Floyd has filled out , but I also think he has slowed because of it.

I prefer the man who was unhittable.

I will say this though. Mayweather should grow his ****ing hair back. If him and Martinez were to fight Martinez would win the first 4 rounds on his better looks alone.

When you're hittin the roids like Floyd has been when he's not fighting, permanent hair loss is possible. :D

Didn't seem to have done him any good. It didn't help his chin as he got "floored" by Mosley and didn't helped his power as he couldn't KO a small and lightweight JMM.

If he grew his hair back it would detract from his slickness
