No offense but she looks like a man...

Physically speaking, Floyd is just an average welterweight. Low fat, dark skin and sweat give the illusion of a stronger body. What counts is the size of the body frame with the associated weight.

No offense, but she's fine. You can keep your stopsign toothpicks.

Yeah, its a year or two and he's fuller now, but when he has his shirt off on TV he looks big and muscular, but I think part of the illusion of Floyd gaining so much size lately is that 1) Marquez is legitmately very very short
    2) Floyd DID put some size on his back and arms
    3) Mosley was slimmer than we have seen him in his last two fights- I think he had to sacrifice muscle to make 147 these last two times, and as a result he looks drawn and "small" compared to when he first moved up to welter and then junior middle.

I still argue that with the frame he has and as lean as he is, even with the size on his arms and back, he is still a naturally very slender man who is just not as big as the guys coming down from the high weights - that in between fights cotto would look like a much bigger guy, even though they make the same weight and Cotto is maybe a shade shorter.

Zab is also tiny - its the speed and movement that keep these guys in there against "big" men like Baldomir who really do have substantial girth.

everyone in the picture is a toothpick, honestly. That girl is not voluptuous and Floyd is very slender and narrow framed, too, I'm not kidding.

the more i think of this fight the more i favour floyd.

let's say he hits the ring about 155 or so, ortiz will be coming in a middleweight, floyd will have to be really strong to beat ortiz on the inside. i was hugley impressed with his inside game vs hatton but he was stronger than ricky, can he match ortiz's strength?

i don't think he can keep him at range for the full twelve so at some point he'll have to meet him in the middle.

man i'm well psyched for this fight, if floyd beats ortiz in dominant fashion, he'll have been at the top level for 13 years, incredible. Robinson hit the 17 year mark, can floyd come anywhere near that? i dunno.

i just keep thinking ortiz-pacman-khan. if floyd wins that trio as he says, fuk me it's been good to witness this man's career and see him realise his potential.

if he beats ortiz and retires agin i'll be angry at myself for falling for the hype again.

but the passion that floyd incites in people, this is what boxing is about :)

Floyd does look thicker there, but he's got an undershirt, shirt, tie, vest, and padded jacket on.

I do love his skill set and hope he challenges these guys, win or lose.

But to my analogy, if you see floyd in person you would think, that's a pretty fit little guy. You probably would not think, as you would seeing maybe Cotto in between fights, that's a solid strong guy.

I was amazed when I saw Winky Wright training for his fight with Taylor in person at my boxing gym. He had looked so big next to Mosley on tv, but his legs in person were toothpicks, and he was just a shade taller than me. TV always adds size to these guys (except Jameel McCline, that guy looks even bigger in person holy crap, ENORMOUS)

If he can make the 147 or below at the weigh-in, he's a welter.
