The brothers have said they will not fight each other but they should, it is the only fight left they have proven themselves to be ATG,s in my book. It would be a huge fight if it happens but it is unlikely. If they fought now who would win, and I think we should not bring up VK quitting against Byrd or Wlad's earlier losses by knock out, they have both redeemed themselves.

Vitali would never fight his brother the way he needed to inorder to win. Wlad would beat him easily in a boxing match

Vitali is 39 now and in his soon to be last 2 fights are against the least dangerous opposition he ever faced which may showcase deterioration .
Today (actually by the time Vitali is 40 because he has Briggs first) Wlad may win a close decision.

The best Vitali vs the best Wlad ? Vitali wins.
Prime for prime Vitali is the better Klitschko.

Here's one way to look at it. Both guys are big, strong and skilled, but Vitali takes a much better punch. Unless Wlad lands a perfect shot early, does anyone think he can hold up to Vitali punches over the course of several rounds without going down, and losing confidence? I do not.

Unless father time has taken a lot of sand our of Vitali's boxing hourglass, he's still my pick to beat Wlad.

After the Peter fight, Wlad said Vitali was the better fighter. While each says the same about the other we must consider that Vitali handled Peter much easier and did not even need to clinch. There was a huge difference in the Sanders fight was well.

Sure Wlade is the better boxer, but could he box to the extent where he wouldnt get hit? No eventually Wlade gets shaken. thats the begining of the end. Vitali hammers him and Wlade will not shake it off. Vitali by TKO in the seventh.

    No way

Vitali said Wlad is the better fighter.

Get off your high horse. Vitali fought a out of shape 254lb peter and still couldn't put him down. Wlad fought an in shape 240lb peter, won every round, and knocked him out COLD. Did Vitali knock peter out? Did he even knock him down? Wlad did much better against a better Sam Peter.

You mean the out of shape 235lb Sanders that vitali fought? Sanders was so out of shape he was huffing and puffing after 2 rounds. In round 1, Sanders floored Vitali and outfought him.

Sanders did knockout Wlad, but Wlad was way before his prime. This 2010 version of Wlad would eat Sanders alive.

    Wlad TKO 11 Vitali

Wlad is better in virtually every department. Better one punch power, better two fisted puncher, better combinations, better offensive arsenal, much better jab, faster hands, tighter better defense, much better skills, more athleticism, better use of range, tougher and more proven heart. I mean the list goes on....

Wlad is a great fighter, Vitali is not. Wlad is near ATG status...Vitali never will be(fighting stiffs like 39 year old Briggs, Albert "Bum" Sosnowski, and Kevin "No Name" Johnson)

This is prime Wlad I see him defeating his brother, lets face it though the brothers have cleaned out the division with no one willing to fight them this a feat achieved by almost no one on this scale before, there was always a fighter willing to take on Louis or Ali, not so with the Klits the only two fighters worth any fighting Haye and Povetkin are running scared.

and Wlad says the same thing about Vitaliy.

I think that in fantasy bout Vitaliy wins, I think that he is tougher than his younger brother and has better chin. Vit would hit him on many occasions and we saw how Wlad reacts when hitten by a big puncher.

Personally I would never like to see them fight in a official bout.

No., Wlad did not do better vs Peter. Vitali handled him easier in both matches. Peter could not even clinch, and if he tried more often than not he would get an incepting gloved fist. Peter did clinch Wlad and mix in borderline fouls. Peter was on his way out when he quit vs Vitali.

Sanders stamina was not a factor until a few rounds. Vitali beat Sanders
    relatively easily. Wlad did not.

I might buy this some. Wlad mental prime was a few years later. Still Wlad like most heavies is suspect vs punchers. Vitali is not. This is a key factor in this fantasy match up, and one I suspect you don't factor in enough.

That has happened before. Wlad said the master gave the pupil a lesson.

Byrd who fought them both said Vitali was the better. If Sanders or Peter was asked the question, I think they would also say Vitali was the better of the two. Universium who promoted them both on the way up felt Vitali was the better of the two, but Wlad was more marketable due to his personality and better grasp of the German language.
