    Wow!!!!!

Roy jones went from MW to HW champ and doesn't rank top 50 by most experts.

Floyd's ******ed ass barely breaks 100 in my book.

He's a good fighter who wins every fantasy fight on this board. People give him props for being that boxer who hits steadily for 12 rounds while preserving his pretty boy face. It doesn't amaze me that he has done that to the likes of Gatti, JMM (at 145/146), Baldomir, or Corrales. His first fights (including amateurs) were better because he fought some as slick as he is and caught them.

but Great fights have that element of risk and balance where no one knows whats going to happen. an edge-of-your-seat kind of thing. Floyd hasn't had that yet. Moseley could be it, who knows.

no, there is always paul williams, and andre berto at welterweight. then there is sergio martinez at light middle, pavlik at 160, and why not throw in a fighter from 168. i may be a bit sarcastic but the answer is simply no. there will always be someone who says he needs to fight this guy or that guy or shouldve fought this guy on this date at that weight. only after he is retired for a decade or so, leaning toward more because lennox still gets some flak around here, will he be appreciated.

    Exactamundo my friend! :good

Note that this simple straightforward fact is pretty much lost on his "followers".

I am only gonna give floyd credit when he gets in the ring with Pacquiao and some time in the near future not 5 years from now. A win over Mosley is a solid accomplishment but he has to beat the man or else he will always be number 2 in my book.

Jesus I've heard it all now. We have a grown ass man crying about Floyd trash talking his opponents but then defends Ali for doing exactly the same thing but 10x worse.

Why don't you just make your brother watch South Park with you. I'm quite sure he wouldn't mind.

He's already considered to be one of the best boxers in terms of skills....but his resume is only very good. Shane will help....Manny would propel him to the kind of status he has been seeking for years. The only reason Floyd has been seeking the kind of respect and accolades that have been avoiding him has been b/c he hasn't faught the kind of legacy building fights that other greats sought out. Floyd sought out how to get the most money the easiest way and he's done a good job but it caused hindered his legacy a bit. Like Joe....late in his career he has began to take risks and meaningful fights which will help. If he beats Shane and PAC he'll be viewed as one of the best ever with a truly great resume.
