The fight was as onesided as could possibly be. Mayweather couldn't miss with the right hand. People saying Ortiz was competitive are idiots. Why the hell do you think he got frustrated and butted.

Ortiz is 10 years younger, 14 lbs heavier on fight night, is a southpaw and was coming off his biggest win full of confidence. So it should have been competitive.

BUT hold up it wasn't .... Ortiz won 1 round at most (Rd #2). Money was taggin him with right hand leads, right hand counters, etc... Next time you watch the fight try turning the volume down ... every time Ortiz landed a a couple decent punches at best the crowd went wild as if they really did damage. When you watch it w/o the volume you will see he was completely outclassed.

I personally thought Ortiz was starting to gain some momentum in round 4, putting the pressure on and got in a few decent shots, he had Mayweather on the run a few times there's no denying that. Round 4 could have gone either way prior to the headbutt.

Floyd walked down a guy 14lbs heavier than him.

FFS how anybody can say that ortiz gave problems to floyd so therefore manny is going to knock him out.. This just proves how desperate people are to see floyd loose.

Floyd was winning easily and had started to get the left hand working as well as his right.. And to suggest that pac has loads more power than ortiz (weighing 164lb) is ludicrous. Pac is the better fighter for sure but will have his work cut out against floyd and imo will loose.

Source? where does SM say this.. i heard a quote from him saying he had never been hit as hard as when pac hit him? Not quite the same as what is being suggested cos shane would have had to have fought both.

Floyd won Rnd 1, but it was competitive.

Ortiz won Rnd 2, still competitive round

Floyd won Rnd 3, Ortiz was less active & Floyd was landing the lead/counter right, but was not hurting Ortiz.

Ortiz was clearly winning Rnd 4, until the headbutt, which was in the last 20 secs of the round.

The fight was even until the headbutt.

I've always said most people on ESB don't know **** about boxing and this thread proves it. Pbf was putting on another clinic before the ko. Victor hit pbf with barely 7 punches a round but he was competitive? Log off

Clearly winning? Pbf ****ed Ortiz up with that combination early in that round he was turning it up and Vic was turning it down that's why he got desperate and head butted. Victor didn't win a round learn how to score a fight before popping off with this nonsense.

Floyd was winning the early part of the round and had two good flurries on Ortiz.

However, later in the round Ortiz out muscled Floyd and landed some big shots on the ropes, and Floyd seemed to be surprised. Hell, I was surprised!

I'm sorry, when did Ortiz all of sudden become one of the hardest punchers at 147? If you look at his last 5 fights, he only TKO's one person at 140. Peterson, Campbel, Maidana at 140, and Berto at 147 survived. He had Berto hurt and couldn't put him away.

No way he hits harder than a man who dropped Mosley who has only been hurt once in his career.
