He looked good but he was more flat footed and not as creative in his moves. Steward took the fun part of his style out and tried to make him fight like Klitchko.
I'll give Hamed a lot of credit for being a polarizing figure.Actually,Mayweather has many, many detractors in America(myself included). All you have to do is read the threads on these boards to see for yourself.I don't know why you wrote that if Naz were a black American,he'd be godly, while alluding to Mayweather's lack of charisma.I personally would have disliked him just as much if he were a yank.
I'd guess for every hater like you who can't stand Naz, I reckon there's 50 people who started watching boxing because of the Prince, as well as a generation of boxers inspired by his antics and knock-out ability. You have to respect how mainstream the guy was. The fact that we who saw him in his pomp still reminisce about the entertainment he provided is proof the legend will continue. So... U Mad Bro?
It's true, if it's not broke don't fix it and Steward only knows how to train one way. Prince didn't need new trainers he needed motivation.
the legend.Just for the record,I don't hate Hamed.Hate is a very strong word and doesn't even remotely apply to how I feel about a professional athlete. But if it makes you feel good, keep writing that nonsense. And I'm beyond certain that mr overrated has FAR more detractors then he does fans:yep. And yeah,I'm REAL mad. Can't you tell by reading my posts?
Last time I did the thread about how many excuses hamed's legion of excusemakers wrote on these boards for just his one loss, there were 9 at last count.NINE.Keep 'em coming.Or maybe I'll just start a new thread about it.And Hamed didn't need new trainers?Maybe he needed a brain transplant because he had the boxing IQ of a rock and didn't even know what boxing fundamentals were, lol.
Very well said TT. Steward is good with long lanky fighters who stick and throw the right but with a short creative dancer-puncher like Naz, you would need someone like Ingle who had experience with those types of fighters.
Here we go again. That's 8 less than the standard set by your ilk.Fact is,Hamed was ALWAYS A LAZY TRAINER throughout his career. He ALWAYS eschewed roadwork, preferring to spar instead.:yepEVERY Hamed fans knows this:yep.Simple fact.:yepHamed lost to Barrera because Barrera was simply better. He had a boxing IQ,(actually knew how to box, unlike Hamed),and didn't let Hamed get under his skin like Hamed did to Soto and so many others. That version of Barrera beats ANY version of Hamed.
What type of fighters? Those with no boxing IQ or fundamentals? Those that are lost when dealing with an fundamentally sound elite that wouldn't get caught up in a wild shootout after being psyched out by the classless antics of said brainless boxer?Hamed is the epitome of a fighter that had no plan B,as Marco maintained his discipline and gave mr overrated a boxing lesson.:yep
