nobody buys hopkins to throw 12 punches a fight..:patsch

Mosley already lost to Vernon Forrest. He wasn't ppv material.

Floyd's the archtype rapper/thug except nobody buys his scthick.

Roy Jones wasn't ppv material? Floyd doesn't have a appealing style to casual fans. He goes out and throws 30 punches a round. He doesn't throw combinations and he doesn't go for the KO. Casual fans want to see brawls and KO's. Floyd talks trash and people hate him. That is why you hear people say, "I can't wait until he losses". Floyd sales ppv's because of his 0 and mouth. How can this be disputed? Fans don't pay to see a fighter throw 30 punches a round.

Roy Jones was dominant in his prime. The only loss he had was a DQ. How come Roy wasn't a ppv attraction in his prime?

We aren't talking about Roy Jones Jr. He wasn't ppv because his fights were against Scrubs.

He sells ppv's because He's an American and he's an African American Fighter. He also sells ppvs because his opponents were mexican. THey're a huge market in Boxing.

Floyd may not be the most articulate person but when listening to him you can tell he's very intelligent and analytical. He's just one of those people (even at 35) who thinks faster than they speak; almost like he's on some constant sugar high or something...like a kid that gets all hyper.

After watching many of his interviews and videos, I honestly think he's very smart.

I understand what you are saying but don't expect a single pbf hater to. Anybody who can create a way to multiply millions on top of just becoming a millionaire is smart enough.

He may not be the smoothest at getting his point across, but he does know how to get it out. That's more than we can say for most boxers who don't even talk

I wouldn't call him a moron by any means, you need some intelligence to make the right decisions and to become a superstar. He's just not very articulate that's all, nothing wrong with that, good thing he can fight though:good

As for the previous poster who asked why RJJ wasn't a PPV attraction it was more due to the quality of his opposition, which although isn't as abysmal as some would say, still wasn't that great. Also you have to remember, RJJ had the misfortune of being around when the heavyweight division was smoking hot: Lewis, Tyson, Holyfield etc. One of the main reasons why Pacquiao and Mayweather became superstars, along with their boxing ability is due to the currently dog**** heavyweight division.
