I like Pavlik tonight, not sure if he'll win by late round k.o or decision but Pavlik should get the victory. I definitly think this is a very tough fight to call, a Taylor win wouldn't surprise me at all.

Taylor is far from a joke as well. He has flaws and seems to be going backwards instead of improving but he has been in with some very tough fighters and has represented himself well. Even his "soft touches" in Ouma and Spinks are solid guys. If both were to stick to the middleweight division they would be top 10 guys, so there is absolutly no shame in taking them on in between his fights with Hopkins, Wright, and now Pavlik.

His bouts with Hopkins and Wright are deservidly controversial. People see him everywhere from 3-0 to 0-3 and everything in between. I personally have him 1-1 with Hopkins and thought he lost to Wright. Nevertheless, he fought 2 hall of famers almost even up over 3 fights. A "joke" could only dream of doing that. Still I like Pavlik tonight in an exciting, close, and hard fought bout.

If Pavlik destroys Taylor, he would be right outside or at the tail end of P4P for me.

If Taylor beats him decisively or KO's him, he remains around #5 or so for me P4P. We cannot keep discounting his wins, no matter how close or unspectacular they are if he keeps beating top fighters in his division.

Its a "joke" he defended his CHAMPIONSHIP BELT against fighters who COULD have been top ten fighters in a divison theyve never fought in, twice in a row. Add to the fact that spinks came from 140, had one fight at 154, and took Jermain to SCHOOL imo but got robbed(very predictable) and hes more than a joke, hes a disgrace to the CHAMPIONSHIP BELT. Jermain looked worse than ever in that fight, he deserved to get knocked out with that performance but hence that was quite impossible with Spinks power.

Whats the biggest joke is hes a total fabrication of HBO and they market him like hes the next great thing. Hes stated hes never watched boxing before. To me, that speaks volumes about this guys character when it comes to his legacy. He doesnt seem to care about his legacy the way HBO does. He cares about his kids, and there is nothing wrong with that, but you also have to fight for the fans. He fights for money. He said it himself when questioned about his Champion status"Ill whoever wants to fight for the best money" that line REAKED through my television set of FRAUD! Even though I knew this since the first fight with Hopkins, especailly how he acted after the fight, obviously being told what to say, and not really caring what people thought of him. Thats not a champion to me. A champion cherishes his own legacy and carries himself different.

His skills are not what took him this far, its athletism, hard work and his bronze medal at the Olympics combined with a little money-hungry marketing tactics by a corrupted boxing organization. Need I explain more why this mans career is a giant hoax on boxing fans? No, just watch for yourself tonight and see what happens. He's going to get slaughtered.

    hate much lately??

how do you explain away the fights with bhop and winky? how bout when was the last time he *JT* took a tune up fight?? cause even though spinks and ouma were smaller men, they are hardly considered tune up type fighters. thats 5 fights against good to great fighters. but thats all hype by HBO right?? well i'm not arguing that point cause HBO does hype him more than i care to hear, but his recent resume speaks for itself.

If Pavlik destroys Taylor then Taylor, Winky and Hopkins will have all been exposed as lesser fighters in my mind.

    Freddy Cuevas
    William Joppy
    Daniel Edouard
An old ass Hopkins who could only fight in spurts
A past his prime Winky Wright
    Two non punching welterweights

I don't even think SSR had a better resume than that.

Ouma is not a non punching welterweight

Hopkins is an ATG and just beat the **** out of the lightheavyweight champ

Wright was top5 p4p even after his fight with JT
