The only big name that has cojones to fight GGG is Canelo...

i wouldnt expect cotto to fight ggg anyway...that fight is a joke ....cotto has done more in this sport, in losses, than ggg will ever do

quillin sucks...but ya maybe he doesnt want that fight....i think the mw division sucks really....and i dont think ggg's resume is solid...but thats just my opinion

im not saying this because i dont like ggg...cause i do like him...i like watching him....but his comp stinks...i dunno whos fault that is....but i want to see him in agaisnt ward at 168 and lets see what kind of boxer he really is....even in a good/close loss i would give him major props

At this point Canelo is just name dropping. Whether he will actually fight GGG is a whole different matter. don't think DLH will put him in the ring with GGG. Canelo is GBP cash cow. Getting KTFO wouldn't be good for his career. Moreover, Canelo's main talent is rehydrating and having a size advantage. He will not have a size advantage against GGG.

 

I want to see the Ward fight too, the GGG team clearly seems to be jerking around and alll this yammering about how the GGG team sent a contract is clearly bs, or a terrible offer since they want Ward at 164. The thing is you can't really blame GGG for fighting at 160, and his division not being that great. Just wondering even if he beats the whole 160 division would you be satisfied, or will only a Ward fight satisfy yuo?

 

ellerbe....at this point....prob only a ward fight will satisfy me....because i already rate ggg as the king of the division....but yes i do think its weak...but i think he is the top guy and i dont even really question it.......the guy is 33 and 30 plus fights into his pro career....he needs a p4p challenge in order to solidify himself as a p4p fighter and a superstar ......ward is it....ya i know it sucks ggg has to move up a division....but he can prob afford to....and ward has done more in his career....

 

What about a Froch fight? or Degale? I defintiely agree that he needs to fight better opposition asap to solidify his legacy since he is quite old . If he continues at this route no one will remember him, which isn't completely fair to him since 160 is clearly his natural weight.

i would prob give him credit for it and i wouldnt mind seeing it....on the other side...i dunno how much froch has left...hes 38 and prob hanging them up...if froch said hell take it and is def motivated(which youd have to think he would be if he took it)....i could give ggg some credit and def say its a step in the right direction......

i could live with degale too....i just dont see it happening...i dont see ggg taking the risks when there are guys like lemieux and lee to be had

 

i still dont fully know how i feel about degale...i think 2009 andre dirrell whips him.....hard to tell if degale took his foot of the gas or dirrell just kind of made it his fight later....but degale was able to step on the gas when he needed to late(although when watching i also wondered if dirrell just sort of stopped doing what he was doing successfully....dirrell didnt do much late and he had been having success)

The joke is the Quitter Cotto paying step aside money because he is too scared to fight his mandatory. Matter of fact Cotto won't fight anyone at 160 pounds he is so scared.
