Dirrell lost to Golovkin's who'sm AM record is 245-5 apparently still with around a 88% KO ratio which is crazy.

You can never know how an amateurs gonna do it the pros, but if there was ever a guy to bet on, it'd be Vasyl Lomachenko, running a 396-1 record (404-1 if the WSB is included), as far as I'm able to tell, the best in the history of amateur boxing. Looks like he's aiming for the Pros this year or next, but I guess it's just a wait and see.

Dirrell did beat Golovkin once. It was during a U.S./Kazakhstan duel meet in Tunica, Ms in 2003, I think. The score was like 17-16 and from I heard the scoring was generous in favor of Dirrell.

The guy who defeated Golovkin for Gold in Athens, name is most accurately pronounced

    Guy-DAR-bek Guy-DAR-bek-ov!

Between Dirrell and GGG, at the Olympics, I thought Dirrell pulled it. Although he fought scared.

    Thank for the thread!

    Thanks!

I was sure that "Gay" was never articulated in his name. Not quite certain what sylable got emphasized.
