I'm a Brit and the following Welter fights are the only ones worth staying up to 4am (when Vegas fights show here) for: 1. Williams-Margarito 2 (Marg isn't number 1 until he beats Williams - which he won't :yep ) 2. Williams-Cotto 3. Margarito-Cotto 2 4. Mayweather comeback 5. Berto-versus any of the other 4 - this is boarderline worth it I won't be staying up for any fight with Clottey, Judah, Collazo, Cintron. Margarito-Clottey 2 is a largely meaningless fight. The real fights are the first 3.
Your blatant dismissal of Clottey even being mentioned with the tope guys immediately frauds you as "zero credentials". Sorry man, but that's the truth and every REAL educated boxing fan knows it. :yep
I can throw a bowl with all the names of the current WW's up in the air.. and whatever fight's come up, I will watch. Great times ahead in the WW's Add Mosley, ODLH & PBF into the mix and it's fire
Yes I did WHOOPs, I would stay up for Mosley but don't think he has enough left to beat the big 3 (or 4 if Mayweather returns)
Clottey - Margarito 2 should be at least #3. Definitely ahead of Cotto v Margarito 2. I wish I can find that thread about top 5 or top 10 welterweights in which I had 3 of the 4 current beltholders in my Top 5 (all of them were minus belts at the time) and people were saying "Oh, you have no idea what you're talking about. LOL" All I said was, "You'll see" and it has come to pass.
I think Cintron's still a viable and exciting fighter. Just keep him away from Margarito. He makes for exciting fights and still has KO power in the division.
