Arreola is still learning. So what if his opponents have been tomato cans? The entire heavyweight division are a bunch of bums. Arreola's opponents wobble and fall whenever he nails them solidly, so Cris probably is right up there with the Klitch boys and Sam Peter as far as power. Arreola is more exciting than all those passive Russians put together. Maybe now Haye and Arreola will raise the bar as far as what becoming a top heavyweight will involve, and deliver the fans from the glass jawed, the unmotivated quitters ,the obese, and the safety first sissys that we've indured since Lennox Lewis retired.
You think knocking out journeyman and unproven contenders who aren't good HW's put him near the top of the HW divsion in power? Ok , think is like saying Tye Fields is as big a puncher as Vladimir Klitschko, because Fields has so many devasting Ko's over journeymen. Walker has a bad chin. He will get knocked out every time he steps up in class, I promise. Arreola is painfully slow, has no defense, no handspeed, is fat, crude and one dimensional. Wow, a HW that has power against weak opposition, imagine that. Nearly every HW can punch, Arreola is nothing special at all.
have you seen all the articles on here about arreola? i've seen posts all over the place about him being the "savior" and "signifying a rebirth in the heavyweight division." this is not even from publications, these are from actual boxing fans. i'm not complaining about hbo, they are always hyping somebody up. lol @ 'bitching and moaning.' i'm new here but i am already noticing that you people like to argue..you need a hobby or something
There is always some people who are exagerating (on both sides). But most people like Arreola because he is exciting and throws some punches. Most of us recognize that he is not the most skilled and that both Klitschkos would eat him up. By the way, coming here IS a hobby.
