Just wait til PPV numbers come in lol Yes I'm sure AJ's career is in peril because Wilder the bookies favorite failed to win a fight at home against a fat flabby alcoholic.
Nah, AJ shouldn't have the luxury to get outpointed by Fury. He needs to get ktfo to make people learn a lesson a bout screwing with boxing. Then fury can get his belts.
Joshua holds 3 of the belts and is one of the most popular SPORTSMAN (not boxer, sportsman) in the UK whilst these 2 things are still true, AJ cannot be ignored
Poor Joshua. His options are unlimited, his value and stock remain the same, higher than anybody else. Hes undefeated unified Heavyweight champion of the world. If they cant give him his WBC yet so what. Nothing he can do about that until the other side wants it.
Do you seriously think AJ would get off the canvas like Fury did in the 12th? Way more massive two punch combo than the one right Wlad hand that floored him. Joshua won't get in the ring with either Fury or Wilder any time soon. Hearn won't let him. He'll be fighting Turks, EE consonant bums while waiting on Usyk to beat his was at Wembley or anywhere else.
To be honest, Eddie Hearn is probably celebrating right now. Both Wilder and Fury have blemished records now, plus the robbery will certainly diminish Showtime and Wilder's leverage. The only guy that stands out of the three is now AJ, and if someone uses even the smallest thing to capitalize on negotiation leverage, it's Hearn. Not to mention the possibility of Wilder/Fury PPV not doing very well.
That's the thing: AJ can make $25 million fighting Usyk, who he can easily dominate. Wilder can make bumsquat all fighting a guy like Ortiz again. And I am not at all sure he will rematch Fury because his team knows he was a 1-7 underdog going into the last round.
It’s the complete opposite. Wilders resume took a massive nose dive tonight and Fury won’t be able to keep off the Charlie over Xmas so he will be out for a while.
Who cares, the person that won the fight should be fighting Joshua next. The loser is at the end of the line.
