I think the sad thing is, the majority of aussies reading that article actually think a Mayweather Mundine fight is even more than a 10% chance of happening, when in reality it is 0.

The guy is clearly just hyping the Mundine circus just to keep his name in the papers. And not surprising considering the hype around Green and his recent Briggs fight announcement. Choc obviously thought he would use none other than the biggest name in boxing to try and keep his wavering career in the headlines, as it is clear as day that his choice of opponents ain't going to be.

Next he'll announce he will shock the world and fight one of the Klitchko's for the HW title.

To answer your question of "IF IT DID HAPPEN IN AUST" I would say 60,000 people through the gate and record PPV without any problem.

For this fight to happen I only see 1 way.....and thats for the following 5 things to happen

1. Mundine is strong in his warm up fight at his new weight of 154
2. Mundine wins the interim title September provided the above happens....calls out PBF
3. Mundine wins the WBA 154 title....calls out Money again
4. Mundine defends the title.....Calls out money again
5. Mundine offers Money 100% of all revenue save aussie PPV

If all 5 of the above works then he has a small chance.

 

Then ashley wakes up, finding himself hugging his favourite mundine pillow.
