He's good but he's a notch below floyd in everything except maybe size.. he's not a sensational fighter

Floyd never fought Vanes or Angulo, so perhaps they would have given him the same problems. You say Floyd is fast, but he never fights really fast fighters. He looks like a speed demon because he fights slow guys like Canelo, Ortiz, and Guerrero.

The thing with Floyd is that his fans can only imagine the big challenges, since Floyd will never take them. So forget Floyd vs Pacquiao, Margarito, Paul Williams, Kostya Tszyu and now Erislandy Lara. Of course, he'll fight guys like Guerrero who have no good wins on their resumes though.

    no it didnt...

alvarez one fight before beating trout, was getting called a fake champion because he only fought 140-147's... he was the 'CHAMP' at 154 without even ever beating a top 10 154 boxer

seriously WTF is that all about?? some - SOME - may have said alvarez had a chance,. but people who know boxing knew this was never the case.

I wish people would stop forgetting the joke that was alvarez's title defences before he fought trout... a guy whos done f*k all since

people on this oard read a statement off one randomer and think that its the whole worlds opinion

Lara is the man most were saying alvarez wouldnt dare step in the ring with - alvarez was always a joke top LMW - one who got there by being a ginger mexican & having a flashy style against small small men

Said this from day one but Floyd should win, his punch variety is better, Lara probably wont ever get the fight unless he schooled Canelo

TOWERS, WHAT A JACKASS YOU ARE. Those bouts are not happening under any circumstances, when will you understand this? pac & bradley, beat floyd? The former has 2 tax authorities in two countries to defeat first!

Floyd, has paid his dues. It is a testament to his geatness, that you want him to challenge people outside his weightclass, whilst you sit behind a keyboard! The blood irony of that, you jokers.

Naw too square when pressured he rather lean straight back than use his feet, vs a fighter like Mayweather, it would be right hand central

Too bad Rigo isn't in PBF's weight class because I believe he has the style to beat him. In fact, I think he would beat PBF decisively.

I agree with this. This fight is not going to happen because it is high risk (and it's ACTUALLY high risk for once. Lara is the real deal), low reward. Also, two counter punchers measuring each other for 12 rounds will not appael to casuals. Regardless of how intriguing this fight is for us, it's not gonna attract the average Joe in all likelihood.

Not enough speed, not enough offense.

No one, and I mean NO ONE can outbox Floyd Mayweather.

Was Robert Guerrero a huge draw? Was Carlos Baldomir a huge draw? Was Shamba Mitchell a huge draw?

When Hatton was training for Pacquioa he sparred Lara and said he was the best he has been in with.

Lara is all wrong for Floyd.

UD's Floyd and stops Manny. But he is a big 154 so come on a little.
