The only reason Errol Spence beat Brook is because of Golovkin

Brook was behind on the cards, in his country, in his hometown, in front of his countrymen, with a English ref, and an English judge.

YDKSAB, you're just a sad little troll.

When is the Goat coming back? Or does he still look like a sentient giant pear?

Well then thats brooks bad luck... its like saying "if x had better punching power he would have knocked out y and not lost a decision"

Cotto seemed to have a great career for someone who had the fragile skin on the planet.

There's fragile skin, then there's having your face shattered by a 160 heavy handed puncher. Before GGG, Brook had no issues with either. I'm convinced if his one side didn't go against GGG or he hadn't of fought GGG we wouldn't of seen the problem a rise against Spence with the other side. Its medically documented that it effects the other side if one side goes with hairline fractures. He comeback to soon imo, or really he was finished after the GGG fight !

Before the fight people were raving about how big Brook was, even as far as saying Brook was bigger than GGG on fight night. My question is, has GGG broken anyone else's orbital bone? If not, then I'm inclined to think that Brook's facial bone structure is not world level.

Now he supposedly has a fracture in each eye. Brook is not meant for the elite class, he is a good Gatekeeper though.

Wouldn't say that. On the other side Golovkin ruins fighters nearly every fighter isn't the same after he has faced Golovkin. Only Jacobs could be an exception Canelo maybe too

So why didn't the bad side go before the good side? I think the soutpaw jab he was pumping into Brooks right eye area would have busted him up regardless.

The bad side had a plate put in, the good side had fractures at a guess

I said this in the last post on spence, brook etc. And I'll say it again. Brook's eye went in the 7th round. After 7 rounds, who was ahead? Well? Yeah, and you can't deny it either. Brook was. I had it 5-2 to brook, some had it 4-3. Some even had it 6-1. He was boxing better than spence until his eye went. You ask anyone at ringside, any pundits, any fighters who watched the fight and had a scorecard. They had brook ahead until the eye socket injury. After the injury, spence took over. That is no coincidence.

It doesn't matter that spence busted his eye up. His eye shouldn't have been as weak as it was, and it shouldn't have been busted up like that. That isn't down to a bad defense. Everyone gets hit at some point. That is down to a bad orbital bone.

And you can talk about 'Oh body shots, body shots hurt brook'. I mean, come on...give me a break. Brook is tough as hell, there is no way that the body shots took their toll to the extent that you think they did. It would have gone 12 rounds if it wasn't for that eye and you all know it would. Brook took everything GGG threw at him, and although he was battered, he was still standing. That takes one hell of a physically and mentally tough person to do that, especially when going up 2 weight divisions and fighting toe to toe with golovkin.

Those body shots might have slowed brook down just a tad in the later rounds, but all those accumulated body shots slow anyone down. And that slowdown would not have meant a knockdown by any means. Brook would have stayed upright if not for the eye. He would have gone 12 rounds whether you like it or not and it brook would have won it by close decision.

Don’t be surprised if he gets beat by Rabchenko. Those injuries are always going to be in the back of his mind.

The folks that say G ruined both orbital sockets have never provided any evidence that states, when one orbital socket is broken the other is weakened as well. This may be the case, but I have note read anything that supports this claim. So until someone provides a link that says this, I will just consider them Spence haters.

there is no such evidence, both orbital bones are separated by other bones between them, so blunt force on one side would be dissipated by the other bones and never affect the opposite orbital bone. brook just has delicate facial bones.

Whilst it's an impossible argument to make.....

It's pretty obvious a lot of people haven't seen Brook pre-GGG.

I personally think the weight drain over 14 years took far more out of Brook than the damage to his eye. He ultimately lost to Spence because he tired......a result of that long period of continually draining.

Spence is a young version of Brook who is in the right place at the right time.....

Brook was ducked until the point he was a 'sitting duck'.

Watch Brook's first 3 rounds against GGG, and you'll see the footwork, movement and punch variety which Spence lacks.

I guess Spence's body work had nothing to do with Brook tiring. You jokers just can't find a way to give Spence any credit for that win! SMFH
