Mayweather only fights fighters who won one of there biggest fighters or THE biggest fights of there careers. How every champ should

 

Same goes for the haters, they are unhappy with whoever he fights. I like this fight but I understand that it's not what most people wanted. Let's not forget Mayweathers last fight was a monster and a great card altogether. They can't all be like that tho. I really hope he doesn't fight Khan next or I'm liable to join you in disappointment.

 

Void is running form Pac. Void is extremely afraid of Pac. Void could make that fight today, but his fear will not allow him to. Pac Vs. Void would be the biggest PPV fight ever, but Void's fear still keeps him away.............

Void figures that Maidana will just follow him around the ring and not throw any punches...............he does not expect Maidana to even try to win the fight...........

Has the thought ever occurred this fight is taking place because Maidana is the next highest rated Welter behind Bradley and a champ. As much as people complain since Maidana's fight with Alexander he has a better record/resume than any welter not named Mayweather/Bradley unless you rate guys for losing, that isn't debatable

More than slow, he's as predictable as one can be, he telegraphs his normal punches and when he loads up he helds a press conference to announce what kind of shot it'll be.

He charges in straight lines, his footwork is bad and slow, he isn't composite launching wild sloppy punches than cannot hit clean even stationary targets.

But even when he manages to land clean.....

Nothing happens. Khan got hit clean for 12 rounds with every kind of shot, Maidana even landed overhands right on Khan's pointy chin.

He couldn't even knock him down ONCE.

That's the main reason Floyd cherrypicked him instead of more worthy opponents like Provodnikov, Bradley, Paquiao, Lara, Alexander, Martinez, GGG, and even Khan.

 

Is this a hint from another ****** that Khan would be a better opponent?

Alot of you guys are children who seemingly cant put 2 and 2 together.

Maidana was picked because he is the best combination of deserving opponent + marketable fight + willing to fight now. People have become very disrespectful of Maidana since the fight was announced.

Danny didnt want it right now.

Khan didnt do anything to deserve it, same for Brook.

No casual has ever even heard of Lara.

Thurman and Porter are still newbies with barely 20 professional fights.

Mathysse was supposed to be next in line as that was the point of having him on the undercard, but he lost to Danny.

Dont get me started on the cold war.

Martinez is a middleweight. I repeat... A MIDDLEWEIGHT. Floyd cant even make Jr Middle.

Oh and Floyd whupped Canelo in his last fight.

 

As somebody that feels Maiana is a decent choice of opponent I have to ask what are people's criteria exactly for who should get the fight. I'm at my desk thinking about it and it would seem no matter how you slice it Maidana is one of the top 3 options.

If were going off level of challange guys like Pacquiao, Thurman, Lara, Bradley all have about the same chance with Bradley's being the highest imo. Obviously a WW fighting a MW is more of a challenge than a WW fighting a WW

If your going off record Maidana beating Broner is better than Pac's one win in 3 years, its better than Lara struggling vs Angulo, and it better than any win Thuman/GGG has in their career.

If we're talking entertainment I've never seen a bad Maidana fight while Lara and to an extent Bradley are considered boring by people.

People bring up losses like Pacquiao didn't just lose 2/3 and really 3/4 of his last fights, some of the same people say Bradley lost his last 3 fights & that Martinez loss his last bout vs Murray.

Is it just because he's fighting Mayweather or is Maidana vs Pacquiao/Bradley/Thurman/Garcia all bad fights.
