At least with the booing of the US or German national anthems, we can say that there's history there. The Ukranian national anthem? seriously? That was cringeworthy. The ones that booed and Haye deserve each other.

 

Cheated not defeated..Mccloskey terrible display..or Casey vs rigo. They are all more embarassing imo.

 

Haye was a joke. Like many knew, but most on this board chose to ignore.

 

Hows it embarassing that 50% of those in Boxing News thought Haye would win. They gave an opinion and were wrong, that is hardly embarassing is it. The toe stuff is very embarassing, the fans werent that bad. The embarassing fans were those who tried to jump in front of the camera when Haye is walking to the ring, joke of security.

 

He was shot to **** and 2 or 3 inches shorter than Vitaly and he made his cheek look like a vagina.:yep

 

Didn't think the perfomance was that bad to be honest - not many survive the distance with Wlad, despite his cautious style, nevermind nicking 2 or 3 rounds along the way. And he took the punches from Wlad a lot better than most thought he would. He landed a few full-blooded punches on Wlad himself, and he was probably shocked that Wlad took his power so well, and hence lost a bit of heart and slipped into more of a survival mode.

However, he and Booth didn't do themselves any favours with the post-fight comments.

The majority of the fans were right tits, but this is not surprise news. The footy fan element bring the massive mong factor into the proceedings, but it can't be denied that boxing needs this casual input in the financial sense, in order to thrive in the world of sport.

 

I wasnt talking about Vitali but at least Vitali wasnt knocked out by a journey man in 1 punch.

Is a thread by Chef, a member of Wlads team. He praises the british fans for the atmosphere they brought to the arena in support of Haye. It's a very positive opinion of the fans, by someone who attended the fight and was with Wlad and his team before the fight started.

personally,when i have been to fight nights beit they am or pro,we don't sing,most of my mates don't watch football,(well maybe a excuse to go to pub)its ****,we get pissed,and shout 'hit the ****er' 'get ya hands up' 'knock his head off' ' i could do better with with one hand tied behind me back' ect ect
