it has been a very long time coming and i certainly cannot wait i still see hatton getting alot of the later rounds and winning split decision very close, the other way it could go is the ref stopping due to cuts hattons eye has bust open a cupl of time and if mayweather targets that area he could split it open , either way my moneys on hatton, then a summer showdown with cotto. after that hatton will not fight for much longer and nor do i blame him

Fair analysis. The one fight i do not want him to fight his witter at 140 just to shut witter up.:good

witter most definitely needs shutting up now, hes getting boring, i dont think hatton will see him as a big enough name now tho 2 end off his boxing career, i can only see hatton fighting another say 3 mayb 4 fights hel retire by 30 he has his money and respect by then, he has been sensible and not gone down the road as ali or holyfield or tyson, tyson seems very slow and slurry these days evender is not much better and its sad to even think about ali.

Against Judah he got out-hustled early with the counters and only got joy when Judah stopped throwing and he started leading with his punches, when Judah initiated he ducked and covered.Against DeLaHoya which I've just watched again he got virtually all his success leading with jabs from the outside.Like I said against quality opponents he doesn't risk countering that much unless the guy is tiring,he either pushes guys away or rapidly moves back and stays outside these days.Obviously all the fights you've seen of him at the lower weights has imprinted on your brain, you know what they say olds and new tricks lol

Type all the smiley faces you like but his counter pushing doesn't score and is not classed as a punch

The lads who know boxing know that Mr Mayweather is in for a tough evening..
Is Floyd the superior boxer...??? - Damn right
Does Floyd have the bollocks if it gets a bit rough & tumble..??? - We'll see...!!!
I think Hatton comes out of this really well win or loose & shuts a few mouths in the process.
PimpC - Your life on ESB will be a ****ing misery if your bumchum looses...!!!

Floyd has the skills to beat him & outpoint him well but the closer this fight gets the more I feel like Hatton is going to pull this off.....!!!!!
Roughouseing, The odd lowblows & the tenacity to stay on Floyd like white on rice is going to see Ricky cause the upset.............watch this space

The fighter beats the boxer in this one. Hatton's going to do him in 10.

i remember not so long ago a fighter was saying that he wanted no part of Floyd Mayweather after wobbling around the ring for nearly half a round with luiz collazo. I have to recall that and think what has ricky changed in his abilities so much that floy could be dismissed. the anwer nothing. ricky wasnt ready for him at 140 or at 147 after the collazo fight. he will beat alot of guys but not floyd. to complete of a package that takes advantages of fighters mistakes and yes ricky will make many and floyd always answers. and oh yeah this will be the first fighter in a few years that floyd is not the smaller man.

Hatton looked the worst i have seen him in those, Collazo he was too bulky and slow, lacked energy, nothing like his normal self, no spring, Urango his stamina wasn't there after 6 rounds, he was back to the normal Hatton for Castillo, if he comes into the fight in that shape, it should be a very good fight, i am glad if people judge him on those 2 fights as its them who will be shocked by Hatton.

Did it ever occur to you that perhaps Hatton wanted to build a profile in the US first so it would be a more lucrative fight for him? Perhaps he wanted PBF to gain a bigger profile too? PBF was virtually unknown outside of hardcore boxing fans until he fought Gatti.

Come on, you can't see that these 2 were ALWAYS going to fight each other?

I mean, Margarito smack talks/calls PBF out endlessly for months/over a year and PBF continually declines his offers, yet only 6 weeks after claiming he had done all he had to do to prove himself in boxing and immediately retiring after beating DLH, he comes out of retirement as soon as Hatton calls him out once :think
