The truth is fury doesnt need legs for it. Theres not a lot of legs needed. Furys not being chased around the ring. Hes just offsetting wilder....everytime wilder goes forward to throw. Fury just takes a few steps back. Wilder needs to then reset and start again. Otherwise he ends up falling short with his punches. The only reason wilder got any real success against fury was because he kept going at it. If he trys to conserve his energy....fury wont tire out and outbox him on the outside. Ortiz tired cause he had to lead. Fury tired cause wilder was pushing the fight. If wilder doesnt push the fight...fury will be laughing cause he,ll beat him on the outside all night. People high on wilder atm....tbf they,ve done a great job with him. But people are only seeing him in with guys that need to lead on him. His opponents are still being picked carefully. All we,ve seen flips on its head when he has to be the leader. Klitchko was the same.....people still put the fury win down as a fluke....the truth was klitchko was fighting guys that had to lead on him. Fury didnt have to.
Is by not taking the fight. Fury is done man, he is no longer a man with his back against the wall. Wilder is still hungry, say what you want to say he keeps himself in great shape and is mentally switched on hungry to do damage.
In regard to the wallin fight....fury didnt offset wallins offence much like he done against klitchko and wilder. As in step back when wallin goes to start his offence. People would want a refund on their ticket money if he done it all night against wallin. Its been a conscience decision from fury. He,s not aged overnight tho. He lead far more in that fight that he did against wilder etc. He took wallin a bit too easily plus wallin fought a very good fight. He wont be leading like that against wilder....and he will be offsetting wilders attack every single time. Nothing to do with his legs being gone. The opposition wasnt good enough to warrant them tactics. Had pressure on him to lead bearing in mind wallin was thought of as a nobody. Furys not great at leading himself. Infact hes pretty poor at it. Like wilder and klitchko....he doesnt need to do it much due to their size and reach. He wont need to for wilder tho. The guys not even in great shape and he,ll still beat wilder again.
Fury has only ever had one perfect performance and that was against Wlad. I just think he lacks concentration and/or gets bored sometimes so does stupid things.
justacasual, I dont agree. Boxers do better in the rematch, Fury will school Wilder and not get robbed this time, unless Fury goes back to being a depressed, overweight alcoholic.
Oh come on haha Stiverne 2? That was pathetic and should not have been sanctioned as Stiverne was that inactive and out of shape. He looked like Tyson Fury at his fattest, and yeah, Ortiz isn't getting any younger. Great fighter yes, but his best days are behind him now.
Going by styles, anyone else seeing Wilder not getting out the first round with Tyson(Mike) ?? He absolutely wrecks him, Wilder wouldn't even have the confidence to throw his right hand, therefore the fight would never be made, but if it was, they meet in the middle of the ring, Tyson bobbing as usual, once he gets a sniff, like the first shot that lands, Wilders backing up and with his flaws its rapidly down hill, like never ever with any other past great would it be as easy as it would be for Tyson, he gets him out in the first, I know most would agree Tyson sparks him but im saying it 100% doesn't go more than one round
I rewatched that Wilder v Stiverne rematch a few days ago. I actually felt sorry for Stiverne as it was clear he wanted nothing to do with Wilder after the first KD...and then the ref let him fight on. He then gets floored again and ignores the ref and walks away from him. Incredibly the ref let’s him fight on and Wilder just starches him.
He made Hamer and Chisora 'no mas' before he took on Klitschko. Chisora had absolutely no answers and was completely bamboozled.
