Sorry to burst your bubble, Griffin's best win was against a Rua when he obviously wasnt right, and his second biggest win was the robbery against Rampage. Shogun has been a fighting champion who has fought the best guys, Rua has the best credentials out of every LH fighter in the UFC. The fact that the Machida won the Rua fight no matter how close it was is a massive boots to legitimizing Machida as a champion
Like I said, only an idiot thinks it was a robbery. As for the Rua fight, Griffin wasn't "right" either... or do you think fighters normally have shoulder surgery just for fun's sake? PRIDE credentials... which don't matter in the UFC. By that account, Wanderlei Silva should be getting a title shot soon. Only an idiot thinks Machida wasn't legit before the Rua fight. What happened during it is inconsequential in that regard.
Rampage won that fight. Your the idiot if you think winning in pride doesn't matter in the UFC. W Silva is much older than Shogun so he doesn't deserve a title shot. I never said Machida wasn't legit before the Rua fight I have been saying he should have had a title shot a year ago, he didn't get it because he didn't speak English. you think you know everything, don't read what anyone else is saying and basically bullshitting.
No, he didn't. When you haven't beaten a fighter who is coming off a win in three years, until last night, then you haven't done enough to warrant a title shot in the strongest division in all of MMA. Shogun is much older than Machida so he doesn't deserve a title shot. Stupid logic. Age has nothing to do with it. No, you said last night legitimized him as a champion. That's bollocks. Beating contenders easily on the way to the title legitimized him, getting the belt only made it official on the scorecards. He didn't need to beat Rua to be a legit champ. Say something that I can't refute and I'll stop "bullshitting", as you refer to it.
In the last three years Shogun has beaten Ovareem, Liddel, Coleman, and Randleman. Just because you have no idea of MMA outside of the UFC it makes your argument completely pointless.
It's way way worse. Seriously? Even if you had Page winning that was a close fight. Shogun-Machida really wasn't even close at all.
It wasn't even that close. Griffin dominated nearly every aspect of the fight; landed brutal leg kicks at will, easily won a rd on the ground; even flurried more and landed more clean punches. Rampage may have landed heavier punches, maybe. But that wouldn't even have won him a boxing match.
How does Evans deserve after getting his ass handed to him? There was no ****ing doubt about that like with Shogun vs Machida. News flash, Hendo hasn't fought in 205 since he lost to Rampage and said he has no intention going back up to that weight. Yea, Forrest's EMBARRASSING loss to A.Silva doesn't count, and I'm sure no one would say a thing if Dana White announced Forrest vs Machida for the title, and a high light real for promo is Forrest gettin schooled atsch. So your top effin choices is 2 guys coming off a loss, one of which is a middleweight, and a guy who JUST got schooled. You're so smart :thumbsup
