He'll fight at 147....PAC is human like anyone else. Roach knew PAC's body would take time to adjust to the higher weights...unfortunately PAC began taking on BIG risk fights and in order to level the playing field the catch weight was proposed. At the moment I think PAC is a legitimate Jr WW who's talent and ability allow him to operate effectively at the WW limit.

It wasn't that long ago that PAC was at 135 or 130. His body, with age is now begining to really fill out and become acclimated to the jump up in weight for the pinoy fighter. Asking Floyd for a catch weight is more a tatic to get the advantage in regards to the "lions Share" of the purse. Floyd being natrually bigger and PAC smaller the advantage is always going to be present no matter at what weight they face each other.

But if Floyd gets the fight at 147....it's basically going to cost him. This is from roachs mouth. Floyd could challenge PAC at 140 since Floyd is chasing PAC for the P4P and PPV King titles......But Roach and PAC know the fight won't get made at Jr WW where PAC is at his best.

 

Well pac has a 147 belt doesnt he? So if he intends on defending that belt he should fight at 147. If he is big enough to TKO cotto he is big enough to fight mayweather at 147.

 

well according to some welter weight starts at 141 to 147 .. if pac come in over 141 he's a welter weight. not to mention he holds a welter weight title.
