My opinion on how steroids differ from loaded gloves:

Steroids are indeed an individual case thing. They are tested for after each fight, and if the fighter tests clean, he's clean. Shane Mosley used steroids once. Its something to be frowned upon, sure, but every win he passed a steroids test for, belongs to him. He's clearly had a great career without the help of performance enhancers, and most people think that Oscar defeated him that single night anyway.

Gloves are not tested after any fight. Its shady as hell that a guy gets caught trying to turn his fists into lethal weapons, and decided just to try it once. He wouldn't try it at all, imo, if he didn't think he would get away with it, and if he thought he would get away with it, he did it before. Steroids do NOT turn your fists into bricks capable of killing somebody. They build muscle faster. Thats about it.

 

He would not have with Shane, had Nazim not stepped in and pointed that something was wrong.

 

I don't see Bernard Hopkins having many off-nights lately, though. :think

honestly i wonder when margarito (if he truly did use it) started using it... i read an article somewhere that as a fight goes on the padding on a fighters glove breaks down so essentially towards the end of the fight your punching someone with less padding... if the plaster thing is true it would fit DIRECTLY into margarito's style of coming on late..... its also a little suspicious that margarito hasnt had any interviews about it..... i know if it was me and i didnt know what was going on i would have made a statement about it asap

 

Your not going to tell me that the camp of Williams would allow that to happen especially when his promoter is from Southern California where the fight took place, and you cant act like Goosen doesnt know the sport, the man has been around for years, I have seen his face go through just as many changes as Mike Jacksons.

What I am saying is that Goosen promotions is here in southern cal the promoters of Paul Williams, they would not have allowed Margarito to walk into the ring with illegally wrapped hands, meaning No Paul did not beat Margarito with Loaded gloves, I know you love paul I know you want to have his kids and all but lets try to not get carried away.

The Goosens have enough experience to know weather or not his hands were wrapped illegally, especially when you consider they are right there to watch him get his hands wrapped.
