but you also had Marvin hagler and Vito Antuofermo fighting to a draw in that year, and Sugar Ray Leonard beating Wilfred Benitez. Also Larry Holmes defeating Earnie Shavers.

 

Have you seen Lopez/Ayala? If not, it is on you Tube, and the quality is fairly good. It is a "must see" fight.

actually i never have..i have seen the other ones i mentioned..i will have to check it out.

 

As you can see by my avatar, I was a huge "Little Red" fan. He's a member of the IBHOF, and quite possibley the hardest hitting featherweight of all time; certainly top 5 in that respect. Mike Ayala was Tony Ayala's older brother, and in my opinion, a better fighter than Tony. You're in for a treat!
