List your P4P top 8. This can be the traditional P4P accomplishments list or a P4P list based entirely upon who you think are simply the best. Now, create a tournament based off of these fighters matched like so:

    #1
    #8

    #4
    #5

    #2
    #7

    #3
    #6

In order to imagine the fights you just simply take the fighter and, compared to the average fighter within their current weight class, how would you describe their relative height, reach, physical strength, punching power, stamina, hand speed and foot speed?

Lightweight (135 pounds) is the median weight class in boxing so you should imagine every fighter as a Lightweight by creating a Lightweight version of each fighter based upon those relative attributes in their real weight class. Of course you can place the tournament at whatever weight class you feel most knowledgeable/comfrtable using.

Wladimir Klitschko is a tall Heavyweight and (stated purely for the point of it - not that he would be a candidate in any sane rankings!) Willie Nelson is a tall Middleweight. At 6'7", there are SOME guys in his division that are as tall or slightly taller than he is whereas Willie Nelson's 6'4" is about as tall as it gets for his division so when creating their mythical P4P doppelgangers you would most accurately make Willie Nelson a little bit taller than Wladimir Klitschko.

Just using the median 135 pound weight class then, for instance, you would maybe do a 6'1" Willie Nelson and a 5'10" Wladimir Klitschko. Of course you would also imagine 135 pound Willie Nelson to hit comparable to like Juan Diaz or for 135 pound Wladimir Klitschko to have the hand speed of maybe an Acelino Freitas. After taking all adjusted attributes into account is when you then play the fight out into your estimation. You can't change the fighters style to suit their adjusted attributes unless you think the fighter themselves would do so if faced with a similar opponent IRL.

    Okay, begin!

I am going to first do a traditional P4P list. I feel most comfortable comparing fighters as Welterweights.

    1: Floyd Mayweather
    2: Roman Gonzalez
    3: Wladimir Klitschko
    4: Manny Pacquiao
    5: Sergey Kovalev
    6: Gennady Golovkin
    7: Guillermo Rigondeaux
    8: Miguel Cotto

    Mayweather vs Cotto (lol)
Pacquiao vs Kovalev (What an action fight!)
Gonzalez vs Rigondeaux (...oh man, just saying that in my head made me wish this were real.)
Klitschko vs Golovkin (Extremely interesting, stylistically.)

Mayweather vs Pacquiao (lol part 2) and Gonzalez vs Golovkin and then Mayweather vs Golovkin with Golovkin winning is what I think upon first glance.
