Message to the thread starter... stop embarassing yourself, if Pac could have knocked Mosely out, he WOULD have... end of thread !

 

But he would have gotten hits off which is the only way to have changed the outcome of the fight.

 

Pacs a different fighter when guys aren;t walking right into his shots. Look at the late rounds of the Cotto fight. Cotto barely even fought after the 5th round.

 

shane was coming off a draw to sergio mora and a fight where he was dominated and beat down by Mayweather in more impressive fashion. andre berto woulda sonned him. jan zaveck woulda sonned him. mike jones woulda sonned him. pretty sure pac wanted a ko, that's his ultimate goal, mosley was just fighting negative and evaded it(not pacs fault...the way mosley fought would make it hard for annyone to KO him but since he wasn't doing **** it would also be an easy UD for any welter contender).

 

Then why the hell didn't he do it instead of subjecting us to 12 rounds of that borefest? That fight was ****in garbage. They were playing patty cake the whole time instead trying to **** eachother up.

 

he doesn't want to trade shots, cause he's protecting himself from that left hand. he felt it on round 3.

 

ive basically adjusted by rating of pacs atgreatness now...based on this notion

i now have to move him up quite a bit knowing that he could have ko'd the iron jawed shane if he had wanted to.....

 

He didn't have to trade shots every time though, there were plenty of times that he could have hit Manny on a counter and went back to defense.

The only "good" thing about the fight is it was a testimony to Manny's punching power at welter.
He knocked down one granite chin in Mosley and put him very clearly on ***** street with a 1-2 (although the "2" didn't do much damage, so you can argue that it was really a one punch KD).
I've never EVER seen Shane with that look on his face after he went down.
Not to mention I've never seen him make a lame excuse to be taken out of the fight. (Good thing Naz was there to stop him from shaming himself more)
Floyd was schooling him more badly than Pac but he kept on fighting 'til the bell of the 12th.
That tells us that Pac's puching power is no myth.

 

I don't know if I'm turning into a ***** or what, but I find myself agreeing more with you lately.
