OK. But, it just really doesn't change my opinion on how this fight would go. Floyd schools this guy, I don't care when they fought. There's a huge gap in skill level here that people don't want to acknowledge. Athleticism they are about equal. Maybe we can concede that Manny has the edge; because, he punches harder. But, intellectually he is a midget (in a boxing sense) compared to Floyd. Lebron will posterize Bobby Fischer. But, on a chess board he'd lose every time. If they went punch for punch Manny KOs Floyd. But, in a duel of the sweet science, Manny is schooled each and every time.

Dont underestimate Manny's workrate that he used to sustain.

What he lacks in skill he makes up for with intensity.

I've been trying to tell these folks that Pac's output lowered against counter punchers and movers, they just won't listen

    Uhhh Ledwaba disagrees.

Marquez disagrees. In the first fight Manny was throwing hard punches the whole fight.

In the second he actually showed decent skill and outboxed Marquez. Something that shocked me but it happened.

Hell even Barrera was a half decent Counter puncher. Anybody who counters Hamed that easily knows how to box.

This idea that Pac can't handle boxers and movers is stupid.

Guys have tried to counter him his whole career. Nobody actually stands toe to toe with him.

Really, Marquez agrees, because Pac has a career avg of around 700 punches or roughly 59 punches per round, but never passed 600 punches against Marquez.

Let's not underestimate Floyd's speed and movement was noticeably better than it is now. Same fight...then and now.
