    Idk, ever since the fight a couple weeks ago it looks like Marquez got what he was looking for. Though he didnt win, i think in defeat he gained more than he would have with a win. Not only do most people think he won the fight, but it seems as though Pacquiao is all the sudden catching backlash from alot of people.

    I dont understand how everyone can quickly turn on pacquiao over this fight with Marquez. I think people arent giving Marquez enough credit. Its as if Marquez was a Darren Barker type who got lucky going the distance with Pacquiao. No, Marquez has always been this good and we all knew it so whats with the backlash against Pacquiao.

    Pacquiao didnt even have to fight marquez again and he did to try and prove that the 2 decisions were correct in the earlier fights. Obviously things didnt go as planned but is that a knock on Pacquiao or does that show how great Marquez really is?

    Again proving how fickle boxing fans really are.

    Dominant champions are not allowed to be in close fights or they become overated/bums/hypejobs overnight.

    It is a little bit unfair. But blame Arum for the majority of the hate Pacquiao now recieves. 2011 has been a very disappointing year for him.

    And of course they were saying they were gonna knock Marquez out. Its not the first time we heard a fighter and their camp say they would knock the opponent out though.

    I saw threads claiming Pacquiao was "always overhyped" haha WHAT?!

    WHAT!?!?!

    Not true. Even *****s and haters downplayed JMM-Pacquiao saying "it's a shitty fight no one wants to see. At 144 it's a mismatch." Something like that.

    The backlash is because his fans said he could beat everyone under the sun, Whittaker, Duran, SRR, SRL, Ali, Tyson

    Nobody dislikes Pac (I certianly dont) but a lot of his fans are annoying ****s plain & simple

    No one dislikes Pac, he's just not as good as advertised, unbiased fans who know how to score fights, saw him lose. Stating such doesn't make you a 'hater'

    leon said it in another thread and divac is obvious and blatant. i think a lot have been waiting for this moment though. i'm not surprised with the hate. what's funny though is that more floyd fans seem to be basking in it moreso than mexicans and jmm fans.
