The Pacquiao-Cotto fight should not be for the title if it is not at 147lbs

Let the fight be for the WBO title, Pac would be the eventual winner at either weight.

That way he has to face the other champions at 147.

wrong. If Cotto agrees to the fight terms then his title should be on the line. If he doesn't want his title to be on the line at 145 then he shouldn't accept the fght at 145 end of story. If you accept the catchweight then you must bring everything to the table in order to make the fight as big and meaningful as possible. Its the responsibility of the fighters to do this.

"The winner of the Hatton-Pacquiao fight, if they want to fight me, I'm here," Cotto declared.

Manny then told Arum to make the fight after Cotto beat Clottey.

    Fact:
Pac weighed in at 138 last May against Ricky. Cotto weighed in at 146 last June against Clottey. Pac then offered to fight Cotto at 143, Cotto came back and offered 145 (within the WW range) where both camps seemed to have agreed. Pac to go up by 7 and for Cotto to drop 1.

Now, Pac (the #1 p4p fighter) who can get the about the same amount in fighting Mosley, will give the business to Miguel and bring him his highest purse to date. Now, is it too much to ask for Miguel give back?... let Pac a chance for his belt as he seem to be very interested in being the 1st to win belts in 7 divisions. Manny's camp has said that they'd be willing to pay for Miguel's share in the fee!
