    Who cares?Both were beyond shot.Pacquaio looked nothing like the motivated fast brawler with 8 punch combinations 5 years earlier.Mayweather's counterpunches were not timed like he used to.Pacquaio should of come in with a pot belly.

    Hopefully this thread has helped the OP realize that the only "fraud" in the ring on May 2nd was Pacquiao. Floyd showed up and fought his fight, Manny showed up and made excuses....

    I started with the statement that I agree that FMJ won that fight.
    I gave Pac 3 rounds watching it live, and that is being generous to him.

    If you actually clicked on that youtube video, what you will understand is WHY PAC THOUGHT HE WON.
    He was actually having more success against Mayweather than the snooze fest that we all thought was happening, only we can't see it because:

    1. His punches were short and compact. How many of you actually saw that Pacquiao was landing solid uppercuts on Mayweather? Or that Pac troubled FMJ with his stiff jabs? Or in countless occasions Pac made FMJ's feet heavy? I didn't. F*ck I don't remeber Pac's double left on Mayweather being anything serious, but watching it here, damn!

    2. Mayweather is such a crafty boxer that HE CAN MAKE IT APPEAR that he wasn't being hit with anything serious. Mad props to him for that. His body language, ring presence and even gesturing (by saying "No" everytime Pac hits him) made it appear like he wasn't getting hit. Well guess what fellas, he actually was eating a lot of leather and was getting pummeled by hard body shots. That's also props to his chin and body.

    3. Most of Mayweather's shots were blocked, parried, dodged or were simple "pushes" and "shoves". I didn't see this in real time. And unless you have super sight, I don't think any of you did either. I thought he was punishing Pac with laser rights all the time. Apparently almost 50% of those supposed "hard rights" that Lederman and RJJ was applauding were blocked.

    Do yourselves a favor a watch the video. Here I'm linking it again.
    If you can't stand the biased commentary, turn it off or put some FMJ entrance song on full volume in the background, I don't care.
    But watch the clip and understand WHY PAC EMBARRASSED HIMSELF BY SAYING HE THOUGHT HE WON.
    He had reasons to believe so.

Um...the scientific method wasn't formalized until at least the 17th century (some would argue the 18th) so to call anyone that preceded that time period a &quot;scientist&quot; is laughable. Now in the interest of full disclosure, there were some philosophers during the Islamic golden age that did use methods similar to the scientific method, but again it wasn't formalized and they were very few. Now in the western world we have known that the world wasn't flat since the time of Aristotle. When human beings first started to examine the natural world the truths of that world were discovered. Thanks to these philosophers, the predecessors to scientists, we had a foundation on which to base science.</p>
    <p>As for the fight. I never understood why people don't like the rules in boxing. The rules are simple three judges at the fight score it. They declare the winner. That's want happened here. What is so hard to accept??</p>
