    Lamotta is a **********? I think you should be VERY careful about what you say,there are guys on here who know Jake ,without proof you could get in a lot of trouble making statements like that.As to your other point I was born in 1948 Louis was still fighting, Marciano had been a pro a year and Dempsey was hale and hearty.You are creative all right making remarks about a man that can get you prosecuted for slanderous libel.

    When Patterson passed away I was sad and when Corrales died I could hardly belive it. When guys like Basilio, Frazier and Benn passed away I know I'll be upset becuase I'm big fans of those guys.

    The death of Scottish boxer Jimmy Murray hit me hard. He was a brave brave boy and he turned in a hell of fight that night. He wasn't Sugar Ray Leonard, but he loved the fight game. He was a tryer. Seems nobody else really remembers it sometimes

    Drew Docherty was a good boy too. He tried to fight on but I don't think he won another fight. He left something in the ring too that night.

    I remember it well McGrain. A lot of trouble happened with fighting while he was recieving medical attention. 1995 I think it was at the St Andrews Sporting Club in Glasgow.

    corrales froze me, i couldnt belive it.
    it made me guilty as well becuase i just didnt like his style he was arrogant and pretencious...but no warrior isnt

    after his death i have been very careful to hate on a fighter

    Right you are Robbi. Some proper nonsense outside the ring. I sometimes feel like Glasgow never really got behind a fighter after that until Harrison...and we know how that's turned out!

    I have had personal friends pass and that hurt badly,

    Bradley Stone... Diego Corrales, James Broad, Jerry Ballard, Big Al Williams (Thankyou to Mr Mike Tyson for paying generously for his whole funeral) Reggie Roberts, Vincent Moses Ekuebia, James Oyebola, Michael Tucker Richards, Trevor Berbick, The lovely Rhoshii Wells....... mmmm Words can't express to be honest.. They hurt me in different ways, i loved all of these guys for special reasons..
