Maybe you can tell us more about how prime Trinidad isn't even competitive v. prime Mosley, or how the SMW division sucks so bad that's it not even worth Sergio's time and how Sexy Sergio would be a top 100 ATG if he only had some competition? Or explain to us dummies how Ortiz is one of the top 5 'warriors' of the last 10 years?

    You're a regular laff riot.

Trinidad is a cheat, Mosley is a lightweight who juiced in his prime; read my other post; wait for ward to win the thing, and then maybe Martinez moves up and hes doing a lot of moving up already. Sergio needs to beat a lot of the nobodies at SMW to get recognized. Berto Ortiz FOTY.

I guarantee you nobody @ 154 wants to fight Maravilla, Cotto is not going to fight much longer. He just wants a paycheck. Nobody at 154 wants Maravilla, just a pay check. Wait for the build up

My other post is under the Bute topic if you're too angry to click straight. Puerto Rican fighters of the past 20 years have brought nothing but shame to their country, getting outclassed by Mexicans and Cubans every time there is a fight of any significance. Take that knee.

I'm sure Sergio is cutting weight RIGHT NOW, to make a paycheck. We all know how big these names are at 154. Bundrage, Dzinziruk, Alvarez, and Cotto don't need to move up and fight real competition. They got their little money machine going. Only thing keeping that division alive is Cotto who is followed by every Puerto rican in the dam world like he was the 2nd coming. Got news for you compadre, Cotto is gonna take a knee again.

Can someone please explain how the hell Cotto is the man when he fought once at the weight and for a vacant title against a hypejob in Foreman who had a bad knee?

    I love Cotto, I think he's a fantastic fighter, but c'mon.

This is pretty much accurate. Cotto would struggle with Sergio badly, if not get stopped. Sergio's style is all wrong for him. Cotto does well against same size or small fighters (If your name isn't Pacquiao) and struggles against larger opponents.

That was no vacant title, Foreman took it from Santos.

Santos? The guy who had a full time job and had seen his better days a couple years back?

All I'm saying is, and I truly mean no disrespect by it, but Cotto in his Jr. Middleweight career is fighting carefully selected opponents, and it's a shame that the divisions top guy is a 147 fighter campaigning there simply because he's been run out of 147 by Pacquiao.
