Dumbass, they don't sound the same at all to you because you hear them all the time. Why is this such a hard concept to grasp? We're not used to that accent here. Since we don't hear it as much, it's harder for us to differeniate between the two. This isn't rocket science.

I'm done with you. You can't even grasp a basic concept. You're only thinking of things from your point of view. Differentiating between accents is difficult if don't hear them much. Wales and England are in the same area. They sound enough a like were someone who is not used to the accents would have a difficult time differentiating between them. You don't understand this because you are from the area.

 

In the United States we have state governments and areas of governance and law where the state dictates policy. We also have commonwealths like Kentucky although that difference eludes me. Louisiana civil law is based on Roman law not English common law.

We have our dialects as well. Bostonians and low country Carolinians stretch the English language to near divergent levels. The Creole/English/French patois is totally incomprehensible to me. You won't get English service in Miami's Little Havana. And honestly I'm totally lost trying to comprehend Black urban talk at times. Our native American languages number in the hundreds from Inuit to Cree. The Amish speak german.

Our education is somewhat homogenous but I paid a tenth of what an out of state resident would pay to go University in Florida.

You can call me a cr*cker, Floridian, southerner, or American but foreigners call us all Yanks. But say that in Valdosta, Georgia to a redneck and you could get a serious whupping in the wrong neck of the woods.

you accent is as simular to and oz accent as say an english accent is to a scottish one, have you never heard some of these nations people speak.

I've heard all of them speak. I've heard plenty of Irish, Scottish, English, and Australian accents and can tell the difference. However, there are not many Welshman out here. The accent is not heard here very often and can easily be confused with an English accent.

it might be but my point is that it is not a siular accent just because you don't hear it much doesn't make it simular, i accept what your saying as you asscoiate it with english but you didn't really say that. I think we have been arguing about something we kind of agree on but neither of us have set our points out that well.

 

but it doesn't really matter does it. if our country wanted to come over to your country and declare your country part of the United States there would be nothing your country could do about it..
