identifying the welsh flag is one of those things you learn out of interest as opposed to need because that info will probably never be needed by the average american. i have a fair amount of knowledge about various nations and peoples that i learned because i found it interesting. wales has not stirred my interest yet so i know very little about its people or symbols. this does not make me ignorant, just uninterested.

Muttley, you're still talking about yourself. You act like no American ever tavels. Plenty of Americans travel abroad all the time. However, given the circumstances, it's easy to understand why Europeans travel internationally moreso than Americans.

They were English subjects that fought the war, no Americans were in the war because America wasn't recognised as a nation until the war was over.

Don't raise the subject of semantics with me son, when you've been spinning **** since page one and hiding behind words since you started getting pulled up for being wrong.

    You think you're a clever dick, but you're a dopey ****.

Muttley, this makes no sense. Less than 1/2 of 1 percent of the American population is Welsh. The odds of you running into a Welshman in this country is very slim. Surely you get this concept.

You haven't proven me to be wrong on one instance. You do the same thing you do all the time. No one was talking about what happened during the war. The fact of the matter is, the colonists ceased to be English citizens once they declarded independance and won the war. This happened hundreds of years ago. Hence, We(Americans), told England to **** off hundreds of years ago.

No Muttley, it isn't. Now if I couldn't identify the Welsh flag, you would be right.

So you must be talking about yourself in this thread then. That makes sense :yep

No, I'm not talking about myself, I'm talking about the people (and there are many of them) who have made the effort to find out about countries other than their own, and even travelled to them. They've also learnt about other countries at school, because their governments have deemed it worthwhile to educate their people about the world.

You've offered so many excuses for a blatant act of disrespect and ignorance, and in this thread you've demonstrated that you know much less than you would have others believe.

You're a bull**** artist, nothing more, nothing less, son.

Order of events son, order of events.

Until the Declaration of Independance was ratified, no US citizens existed.

When was the D of I ratified? :think

Colour me clever, dawg, but you are now starting to argue semantics

And when you use the word 'we' I very much doubt any of your 'peeps' wuz involved in fighting the war of Independance, huh dawg?

Muttley, you keep saying "me" and "I" in your posts. This clearly indicates you're talking about yourself

The same can be said about Americans. There are a ton of Americans who are well versed in other countries and travel abroad regularly. However, The U.S is about the same size as Europe. Therefore, traveling internationally is easier for Euros than it is for Americans. Do you deny that this is true?

I don't really care what others believe, especially yourself. You've made a habit out of following me around and insulting me. I know plenty, I don't need to prove myself to you. But by all means continue following me around spewing your bull****.

No Muttley, that woul be you.

    "the threadstarter is ignorant"

    followed by

"Most Americans are ignorant of the Welsh flag"

You can't see the irony in your statement yet you think you're in a position to say if I'm right or wrong

Tell you what son, why don't you go away and have a bit of a think about what a stupid, arrogant, ignorant, wanna-be know-it-all you are?

Surely, being the boxing afficionado you would have everyone on here believe, you must be well-versed with the term 'leading with your chin'?

See if you can learn to stop doing that eh mate? :yep

It means plenty. There is not much Welsh influence in this country, which is a contributing factor why many Americans aren't familiar with Wales, it's flag, or it's culture.

He didn't mentioned Wales as a state did he ????
Please tell us what Wales is. You play football against Wales (see you soon), Scotland and England, but in the Olympic your up against GB. And then you have the Comment World? Denmark is Denmark every day, not Scandinavia or EU :huh
